Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 15, 2017 Subscriber Posted September 15, 2017 United are capable of 6-0ing us but I reckon they'll choose to win at a canter 2-0 and preserve their energy. Depressing.

Speak for yourself. I've come home from Gym and seen three goals. Happy days. Defoe deserves enormous credit. Has potentially won this game with a crisp finish.
Rick Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Tomorrow we'll either comfortably win 3/4-0 or we'll have 70% possession, 26 shots at goal, but lose 1-0 from Burnleys only shot on target.

Brighton were happy to stick men behind the ball and eventually wait for an opportunity in the second half. Thankfully that happened early which caused a good reaction from the Bournemouth players.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted September 15, 2017 Subscriber Posted September 15, 2017 Ibe did very well for both goals. Two bits of quality to create the goals and two very tidy finishes too. I think Brighton are doomed for the drop. They've got little quality in that side and they don't play a way that utilises what they have. Thought they were overly defensive tonight against a side who didn't even have a point. Not good. They're like another Middlesbrough.

I love Glenn but he was getting old when he led us to a top half finish and that was three seasons ago now. It's a lot of responsibility to put on his deteriorating legs.
Honey Honey Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 If we win today it will be our best start to a season since 2000/01
Toony Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Certainly wouldn't be turning my nose up at a point today, think Stoke look decent this year and have picked up some good results against some top sides. 1-1.
Honey Honey Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 That JD Sports advertising on the top of the stand at Selhurst is horrendous. Woy 1-0 down at half time.

Bluewolf Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 We have a record Crystal Palace 0-1 Southampton Crystal Palace have gone 439 minutes without a goal at the start of the season. The record was Newcastle on 438 set in 2005-06.

Toony Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Palace is huge trouble now, likely to still be pointless after 8 games. Atsu scored for us, 1-0 up

Inverted Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Maybe giving away their free goal early in the match might do Liverpool some good today.
Administrator Stan Posted September 16, 2017 Author Administrator Posted September 16, 2017 Man City absolutely killing it.

Dickie Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Newcastle was looking so comfortable that first half thought it was in the bag, but Shaqiri grabbed that one back. If you give him that 5-8 meters in front of the box open he's gonna drill a beauty.
Inverted Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Coutinho has looked a lot like his old self, in the worst sense. A playmaker that hates passing.
Rick Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Fuck off. Three games unbeaten at anfield in a row for these wankers. Sit behind the ball, the perfect tactic against us. Klopp needs to sort out z plan B and sharpish.

Toony Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Impressive stuff. We look so much better without Shelvey in the team.
