Another game with no Aube - and Arsene is licking his lips - never mind what the Chinese think, with Sanchez gone to Manchester, Arsene is ready to send his big Frenchman to BVB as part of the Aube deal!

That might have been the case two season's ago when Klopp was there, but since he left BVB have lost their spark and last night was a good example of how relying on players like Yarmolenko gives little hope for this season!

Dortmund to Arsenal is a massive step back.

Not really. I'd say it's a step up, as he'd payed far more at Arsenal with the same chances of winning something.

If this deal for Aubameyang doesn't happen then instead of trying for an attacking player, we should probably concentrate on bringing in a defensive player (which is something we actually need). Elneny played very well against Chelsea but an actual DM so Xhaka can play his natural box to box role would be a good idea.

Girouds wife is holding the transfer of Aubameyang up due to her pregnancy she wants to stay where she is.

Well if this is true, then it’s understandable although frustrating from Arsenal’s point of view. These things have happened before where players make decisions based on their other half’s preferences.

Yes its all understandable,  Should offer Welbeck instead but they will just cancel the deal thinking Arsenal are on a wind up.

Any woman that can tame that beautiful man should not be slagged off on this forum.

Also, fair play to her for not only having Giroud under the thumb, but Arsenal Football Club too.

Giroud was at our training ground ready to sign the papers to come and his wife pulled the plug at the last minute.

That’s a bit far fetched. I don’t think he’d be ready to sign for another club, ready to move his family, without having an extremely deep discussion with his wife beforehand.

She didn’t pull the plug at the last minute at all.  You make it sound like a dramatic Hollywood blockbuster!

Who do you think you are, fucking Jamie Vardy?

Koeman confirmed he was in Finch Farm, ready to sign.

And you believe that Mug xD

So Giroud was just about to sign after looking around Finch Farm when his wife found out from a third party and launched a last gasp effert to stop him putting pen to paper?

That or Koeman is full of shit xD

No honestly mate, I actually believe your story that Giroud was about to sign for Everton but his Mrs made him pull out at the last minute.

He claims France international Giroud, 31, was on the verge of agreeing a move to Goodison Park.

"I had Olivier Giroud in the building," said Koeman. "That was hard to swallow."

He told Dutch football magazine Voetbal International: "That would have been perfect but he decided he'd rather live in London.
