Had it all, drama, controversy, bad goals, good goals, but a shame that it was ultimately decided by two horrible goalkeeping errors as opposed to any sort of tactical or footballing genius. Real Madrid's depth won them the game, absolutely unreal that they can substitute Isco for Gareth Bale, and still have options like Asensio on the bench. Ramos proved that he is a mediocre defender with a licence to kill, Bale proved that he deserves more than what the Real fans give him, and Zidane showed he is by no means a fantastic coach or a bad one, he just kind of wins with no thought to it, haha. Real Madrid have been a counter attacking sides for years now. If they create chances like that, it counts even if it doesn't go in. I don't disagree that Liverpool had some good collective play or that 2 of Real's goals were a bit lucky, but I'm just not buying that there was a clear dominator. Did he not eviscerate Juventus last year? We aren't talking about Thiery Henry here, Ronaldo while not having a perfect record in big games has done more than admirably.
