So basically it looks like they pick on women for not wearing a hijab (seems to be the most common one) and general Islamic dress codes.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Pathetic little shits enforcing the stupidest rules of a brutal and backward dictatorship that belongs in the dustbin of history.

She'd basically already died before officially being taken off life support. Her parents confirmed she was already braindead with 0 chance of recovery 2 weeks ago.

Iran's used the Israel-Palestine conflict, that they've got a big hand in egging on with working with Hamas and threatening to send in Hezbollah, to move forward with many of the executions of protestors from the past year. So a lot of young men and women who think they deserve a life that involves having their human rights respected are going to get killed for having the balls to stand up against these awful abusers.

@Dr. Gonzo will be delighted. Iran have now the chairmanship of the "UN Human Ritghts Concil Social Forum". Not sure whether I should laugh, or the time for protest and armesd resistance against  the United Nations has come.

The international community really demonstrating what it actually thinks of human rights with that sick joke.

Psychopaths becoming police officers and abusing their power gets talked about a lot but not enough is made of those types of psychopaths making it into the military. We all know it happens where they're a lot more free to randomly murder people in the country they've invaded but we rarely hear about it which is why it's so shocking when you finally see it being exposed.

The SASR has been under scrutiny in Australia but mouth breathers aren’t bothered because they think it’s justifiable

That's the Netherlands fucked as well.

Lots of elections coming in 2024 and right wing populist are on the march in most places.

Yet to be seen whether Wilders can form a coalition.

I've always looked at the Dutch political system as the arguments for and against proportionate representation in the UK as I think culture similarities are there. This is a good example of what I mean, argument for, extremes probably can't win majorities or take power like they can in some other systems like some Presidential systems, argument against, extremes can speak more freely. If you want PR in the UK you have to accept that this means a far more vocal far right and extreme right wing views in our political discourse.

What's with erratic hairstyles and right wing politicians ?

When people are fed up with society and the government and expectations of how a good person should act, they start wanting someone that throws a spanner in the works, someone that (they feel) gives them the green light to not think, to not question if what they're doing is right or wrong. Extreme right wing politicians symbolise this freedom of non-thinking by looking like bellends. THEY SHALL CONFORM NO MORE!
