LFCMadLad Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Not sure how I feel about this match? I kind of prefer Arsenal as a club but on the other hand I'd prefer it if they didn't have CL football next season, which makes signing really good players more difficult.

The Artful Dodger Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Fancy Arsenal, lot of disruption for Chelsea in the build up. Then again...hazard.
Administrator Stan Posted May 29, 2019 Author Administrator Posted May 29, 2019 Reckon Arsenal will win it in extra-time. Lacazette winner.
Administrator Stan Posted May 29, 2019 Author Administrator Posted May 29, 2019 Lyon will want Chelsea to win. If they do, Lyon go straight in to CL group stage.
Chaaay AFC Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Nervous as fuck, believe that is our best team though! Massive, massive game for our short term future we just have to win. COYG!

Subscriber Dan+ Posted May 29, 2019 Subscriber Posted May 29, 2019 This atmosphere. Fuck sake. What an absolute farce this really is.
Administrator Stan Posted May 29, 2019 Author Administrator Posted May 29, 2019 Aubameyang should score there. Virtually whole of the goal to aim at.

I mean, both clubs support isn't great at the best of times but you cant even blame the fans one bit really. Proper appalling decision to stage a final there it really is and the set up of the stadium is shit for generating an atmosphere too.

At a proper venue this would be a great atmosphere. This is just a farcical indicator of the way the game is going.

(the other option being Ramon Sanchuez Pizjuan, Sevilla's stadium).
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted May 29, 2019 Subscriber Posted May 29, 2019 Gonna fall asleep here. Too long after the season for this game, no atmosphere and no special feeling about this game as it's an all English final where neither side are going to be that arsed if they lose.
Inverted Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Azerbaijan probably thought this would be a great PR opportunity and instead all of Europe is now looking at their country as a corrupt, remote, authoritarian shithole. So they've ruined this event at absolutely no gain to themselves.

Administrator Stan Posted May 29, 2019 Author Administrator Posted May 29, 2019 Lacazette goes down too easily there. Tiny bit of contact.
LFCMadLad Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Chelsea got away with that. We've seen penalties given for a lot less.
