I appreciate that this does severely weaken my chances of holding on to my post of the year title but with my daughter moving out finally and helping my other daughter out with her new car all projects for the garden had to be shelved as money got diverted elsewhere.. I am also being told that the house is in need of a revamp as well so if there are any projects at all to be completed they will be indoor ones and will not stretch my skills in the slightest.. only my patience probably Had a boring leaking pipe under the bath this week that needed fixing and that's done now and some shelves to put up in the airing cupboard which I will start tomorrow.. I am afraid that's about it, my talents will amount to a few brushstrokes, holding a scraper and maybe mixing up some wallpaper paste.. The missus will probably catch me looking out of the window into the garden often as I daydream about what might have been...

Season 8 was shit because D&D gave up on the show to go on and do other shit. HBO even wanted to give them more time and money but they declined. I don't understand how people can still defend Season 8. Seriously? So many plotholes, characters becoming useless like Jon yelling at a dragon, Tyrion being useless, same with Varys and of course "BrAN tHe BrOkEn". It could have been done better in many ways, but they rushed it because they wanted to get it over with. I don't think I have any interest in those prequels unless it comes with thundering reviews. I'm done with this universe for the complete shit show season 8 was.

Kenny Omega did an interview saying there are no real stars on NXT. Not sure if that was a shoot or not (especially as he's supposed to be a babyface) but it makes him sound deluded in my opinion with how limited AEW's roster is.

Well if anyone cares... the new gamemode on Gears' multiplayer "Escape" is FANTASTIC. It's co-op like horde, but it's much more fun (imo) - rather than horde mode which is generally just like a base defense type of game mode, escape is.... where you escape from a swarm hive - starting off with just a Boltok pistol and hardly any ammo.

Seeing as Van Dijk excels quite clearly under interceptions which is generally a part of the game that seperates the good from the best due to intelligence to read a game required I can’t see how those statistics suggest Maguire is better? The statistics in themselves are selective anyway and you’re lying to yourself if you believe Sky are trying to correctly analyse the players rather than throw up stats from both players strengths to create at debate Also it’s well known that it’s more difficult to analyse a defender statistically as a lot of the work a good defender does can’t as easily be collated and marked down as a specific stat compared to a striker for example. The stats available are definitely not being interpreted correctly or shared by Sky Sports as we already know Van Dijk is better than Maguire. The masses aren’t interested in further statistical analysis to prove that point, but put an image trying to portray that it might be a lot closer and shock horror a pointless debate kicks off Honestly this topic is about 90% spam, no wonder people barely post in it other than every now and then when a Pogba debate kicks off

Defenders: Moisander, Toprak (both should be fit in about a week), Veljkovic and Langkamp (both in reha-training), Augustinsson (out for 2-3 months) Midfielders: Möhwald (out for 6 months). Bargfrede (was out for months) and Maxi Eggestein are just back to the squad after injuries. Attackers: Füllkrug (out for months), Osako (out for 4-6 weeks), Bartels (out indefinitely; potentially career ending). Rashica just returned back as well. So 9 currently injured with 3 players coming back after injuries. + Sahin suspended. All first team players as well. Mostly bad luck as it's all different type of injuries; some long-term as well. We actually even hired an external team of specialists to evaluate it to see if there's something contributing to it potentially but no pattern was found. Hope Maxi Eggestein and Rashica are fit enough for the starting XI tomorrow.
