I woke up to take the trash out this morning came back and couldn't find the cat then I found him doing this, its a little nippy in the mornings.

I think smoking is bad, but I don't think this really does anything valuable for New Zealand in the long run. I think making cigarettes more taboo for kids makes kids want them even more. And like with drugs, when there's a demand for something illegal... it just creates a black market which encourages organised crime. It says something about where the world is at societally. Governments no longer trust that people can be informed to make good decisions, so they make the decisions for them. In the long run, I think that's bad for everyone.

Just checking in after an insanely busy few months... work and life have been busy for me, also managed to land another career progression a few weeks back. Starting after Christmas with a new company! Missed you all Holy **** my notifications .

Evidence seems to be confirming that this becoming a progressively milder disease. If so, by spring we should be able to stop this hyper focus on a disease which is, yes, nasty at times but really not the plague that it's made out to be. Let's try and salvage what we can, the social issues that will come from this will be horrific. We need to start rectifying it now.
