Transfer Rumours 2017

Recommended Posts

We've seriously dicked ourselves this window considering we are now at a point where we are spending nearly 30 million on fucking Drinkwater and scrambling to buy two players who are currently injured. Even though we sent out one million players on loan who could have easily filled those positions.

The Chelsea board ladies and gentlemen. The gift that keeps on giving.

At least the Chelsea board is doing something.  I think the United boards went on holiday a couple of weeks ago.   I would even take a fake tweet that Messi was at Carrington getting a physical.

You seem surprised....

Same thing happened last season... Conte did not get any of the players he wanted and they scrambled to bring in some short notice emergency players which thankfully due to a CL free season seemed to work out well for everyone.. I see this season being no different except that with CL football stop gap filling players this time round just wont cut the mustard..

What we really need to ask ourselves is why is it that decent players or 'big names' if you prefer don't seem to want to be part of Chelsea squad? We are Champions ( currently ) and its not as though we are normally away from CL football season after season and yet Drinkwater, Chamberlain & Barkley seem to be the only names we can attract from the vast footballing world.

As I type that we already know that Chamberlain has turned us down in favour of playing for Liverpool so that reduces our chance of a catch even further.

Even if we were to get Barkley at the death he is injured and could be out for a further 3 months yet until he is ready to play.

Its a mystery for sure but we didn't need a fortune teller to let us know how this was all going to turn out..

£35m fee agreed with Arsenal for Oxlade-Chamberlain and it looks like Origi's going on loan to Wolfsburg.

£40m apparently.

We have pulled Liverpool's pant down here. I said we would fetch at least £30m for him,  but I can't believe we got £40m.

Our journalists are saying £35m, yours are saying £40m. Probably means it's £35m plus £5m add-ons

True but things aren't looking good mate. I can't remember Arsenal been in such a state.

apart from Sanchez Arsenal don't have anyone important, the squad is full of average players that will not play for a better team,  its very worrying.

Perez is set to join Deportivo on loan after they failed to agree on a 13 million transfer.     Mustafi also can only join Inter Milan on a transfer and not a loan Arsenal have said but I think by tomorrow he will be gone on loan as he clearly doesnt want to stay at Arsenal.

Arsenal target Turan is set to move to Monaco.

Lots of talk going round saying we won't sign anybody, unless we get someone in a swap deal with Sanchez. We have had no one on our radar, so any deal now is a massive panic buy. It's probably for the best, it means Wenger won't go wasting a tonne of money on crap.

Also the whole summer long target by Arsenal, Lemar from Monaco is now being chased by a number of clubs and no longer Arsenal as the price has now gone through the roof and we can't afford it.

Arsenal desperately need a defender, they are even short now at right and left back if they continue with this 5 3 2.

Wenger said Lemar is not available at any price but it turns out he has a buy out clause at 70 million which Liverpool apparently have met but now cooled off as they have got someone cheaper The Ox.

At this rate I'd honestly be satisfied if Llorente and Drinkwater come in before deadline.

Three years in a row this has happened. Things seem to go horribly wrong during negotiations and Fingers need to be pointed somewhere because this really is unacceptable.

There are various clubs that have officially contacted Monaco in the past couple of days over Lemar and none of the articles I've read mention Arsenal.

The truth is that 70m is way out of our range, we aren't in that league. :censored:

No signing will help with Wenger in charge. We should sell who we can now and just pray for a half decent season. Then we should be looking to rebuild without Wenger next year.

Although a lot of tall of Kroenke restricting funds for transfers. He needs money to fund a new stadium for his NFL team. I hope he just sells now, he'd get the money to cover his new NFL stadium and he can just rinse that for money as it's in L.A.

Think Oxlade-Chamberlain adds depth but that's all I can say about this deal really. He's one of them players that's never lived up to the hype from a few years ago. Maybe Klopp can make him realise that potential but at the moment he's just swapping being a squad player at Arsenal to being a squad player at Liverpool
