There really is an agenda amongst the media regarding Mourinho and this killer mentality that apparently never existed under Poch. He had Spurs in a Champions League final and amongst continuous top 4 finishes whilst competing on a much lower budget and their rivals and moving stadiums they also finished runners up.

Well it’s typical Mourinho 2nd season syndrome too. The media love it. More so than Mourinho’s inevitable 3rd season syndrome.

I think the main factor is Arsenal being practically relegation-level when it comes to attacking play. They basically can’t create a chance. At all.

Couple that with their shaky midfield and disjointedness in possession, and it does kind of make the tactical approach obvious for Mourinho and Spurs: sit back, let them frustrate themselves in their efforts to attack, let Kane and Son pounce on the inevitable mistakes.

Credit to them for them for executing it well, though.

Didn’t think Arsenal played too bad. Just ineffective in the final third and Bellerin constantly out of position.

Heard that in pretty much every game we’ve played this season... It’s like it’s by design or something
