England captain Harry Kane says he will be "staying at Tottenham this summer" and is "100% focused on helping the team achieve success".

Might be another gentlemens agreement with him and Levy, I can remember Ronaldo wanted to leave United and join Real when United beat Chelsea in the Champions League Cup in 2008 but so they say SAF convinced him to play one more season with United, we all know the rest.

His statement was pretty clear though saying "this summer". Its pretty obvious a deal is in place for later down the line.

Embarrassing talking about the fans tbh, just a PR move. He doesn’t want to play for Tottenham, just say you’re staying and move on. More fool the adults that actually buy into this.

I don’t think a deal is in place. We just have less leverage next summer.

Happy for you mate, you can keep your avatar :4_joy:  ..we could of got him, we just didn't want to pay, think Kane's blown his chance with us now

in other news, Ronaldo has just left mid training session "arm injury" the excuse lol

Klopp was asked if he'd enquired about Haaland last week and he said "no because I haven't got his number" xD

According to Bild his number is 825,000 per week...

It’s that fat cunt Raiola that’ll be the problem.

He apparently wanted 34Mill in agents fees to swing the deal for Haaland to come to us plus the above weekly wage it's reported.. The whole deal if true would have set us back around 275Mill if we had signed him for 5 years..

My worry is this just paved the way for Citeh next year. That’s very problematic xD

Feel for Kane in that he has to stay somewhere he ideally doesn't want to be. He deserved a move to bigger and better things and will no doubt look on enviously.

It's bittersweet, because as much as he wanted the move, he clearly loved Spurs enough to respect what they have done for him not to publically rock the boat. His relationship with the fans was very important to him and they won't care a jot now they have their main man back.

He could have really kicked the toys out the pram and forced the move like others have in the past, but that's not the kind of guy he is and you have to respect that in today's game.

It does feel like City will move on now which actually makes me think a move to Man Utd is more realistic perhaps next summer.

This is why nice guys finish last, in 20 years time he's going to look back with regret
