Here are my non negotiables based off past experience. 1. Appearance. It's a yes no question. Would I bang sober? If yes, we can continue. But a no is always a no. You don't need to make DDWs top 5 of all time to ride, but better is better. 2. MUST HAVE HOBBIES AND BANTER. I dated a girl for about a month or so once, her weekly update was always "Yeah I worked all week, watched MAFS and drank wine with mum a bit" EVERY WEEK. Fuck off. I don't care what you're passionate about, but be passionate about it. 3. Don't be a fucking clone. I want someone with some identity and character. 4. Don't be an anxious little needy fuck. I like to be close, I do, I can have needy moments too, but they're spaced between long periods of self reliance. A mopey little anxious wreck is no fucking good. 5. Value yourself some, and value your wants and needs. Don't eat like a fat pig, stay fit, look after yourself, "I'm gonna spend the day in bed because I just can't..." NO. I want to HELP someone looking after themselves, not do it FOR them. 6. Don't be god awful at sex, pretty easy.

It’s actually pretty sad when you think about it.

It’s actually pretty sad when you think about it. I am by NO MEANS a big Jordan Peterson fan, but he is a reasonable psychologist at times, and he is very correct on some of the different gender constructs. If men and women have a bar/100 of "things to do" with their daily lives, and you split those things into 3 categories,(work, family, self/hobby) men are generally far more work and hobby dominant. (which is part of the pay gap) and women are far more family oriented It might look something like Man. Work, 50%, Family, 25%, Self/hobby25% Woman Work 40% Family 50% Self/hobby10% Men generally are more career oriented, with more hobbies and spend much more time away from and even outright dodging the family (going to pub with mates/fishing to get away from the wife or kids) where as a married with kids womans world revolves around the family. Thus, very often women have few or no hobbies, and often times they consider dumb shit to be hobbies. (Watching TV, Aromatherapy) IMO a hobby is a skill. Gym, fishing, horse riding, a sport, track days, mechanical DIY ect ect. Drinking a glass of wine and watching love island is not a hobby.
Devil Posted May 11, 2021 Author Posted May 11, 2021 People who's life is there work, I get it they wanna make something if themselves but if you can't relax and unwind then what's the point. Another date from when I was younger, a university student who was studying the human brain, think it was neuroscience or something. Now there was nothing wrong with this girl but she was that into the workings of the human brain I just felt a bit stupid and couldn't handle her. We had some fun though, she put her brain to good use for a day or two whilst her mum and dad were away.

To add to this, a lack of manners, respect, an expectation that the bloke must pay and do everything during dates etc. A lack of humour, a lack of career mindedness, and basically any Man City fan who goes to the gym and takes steriods.

She actually used me I think, one of the first times in my life I realised women need and want it as much as us men. I gladly obliged to be fair but it never went beyond those two days because we were so different. Only ever seen her once after that in a highly embarrassing situation, had a scrap outside a kebab shop with a group of lads and had my shirt completely ripped off my body. Turned round and she was stood there with her brother, she just looked at me and my mates in disgust.
Harry Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 The first thing that came to mind was the female Trump supporter stereotype. Authoritarian sympathisers. The type vulnerabile to misinformation and pseudoscience, and ignorant and overconfident enough to state their opinions as fact. But I'd generalise that to people with extreme political views whether on left or right.

Inverted Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Basically just boring people. If someone has totally different interests to me I can live with it - actually its exciting to meet someone who exposes you to new things. But yeah, a very large chunk of humanity is just consumed by dull, superficial, meaningless consumption of time. I mean, I also waste a large chunk of my life scrolling twitter and other such things but I at least try to resist it and try to broaden my horizons a bit. Some people are really just happy taking pictures of themselves eating shit food, watching reality TV, going to gym, and getting smashed at the weekend. Or you have people like hardcore comicbook movie fans, who think they're quirky and unique because they like the most intensely commercialised and heavily marketed media franchises in human history, and all they want to do is religiously go see the 50 new movies that come out every year.
Devil Posted May 12, 2021 Author Posted May 12, 2021 I'm 5,8 tall so anyone really tall would be a no no for me and I'd imagine not many that tall would want to date someone of average size.
Lucas Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Females that swear too much. I remember going on a Plenty of Fish date ages ago with a girl that looked decent and seemed fine messaging, and in the first 20mins I couldn't look past how many times she used the word 'Cunt/s' without batting an eyelid. Game over. Next.

Game over. Next. Yeah, I hate women who swear their heads off and are generally loud. On the other end of the spectrum my cousin met this girl and has been dating her twelve months or so and to say she's pleasing on the eye is an understatement. Basically runs her instagram page like one of those Influencers. Finally met her at my cousins ashes spreading memorial and she couldn't speak, she was just so dull I felt sorry for her lost in conversations. Then finally my auntie spoke to her and she basically had zero personality. It's got to be the whole package or nothing, doesn't matter how good you look if your not good to be around what's the point.
MUFC Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 Manky feet would put me off. In the past smoking wouldn't have been an issue but the smell of it now is off putting. I do vape though, guess that makes me a hypocrite.
