Who do you think will get the Golden Boot at this year's tournament?

I voted Lukaku. Whatever people make of him at club levels, his scoring record for Belgium is astonishing. If he is fit (and he does have a recent worry) he'll be in a talented side playing around giving him chances how he wants them.

Pity Norway will not be there. The rest of the team must be awful if the Haaland cheat code isn't working. His scoring record for them is as good as you would expect.

Kane is another contender, again. Hope he at least gets ahead of Rooney. Bale & Keiffer Moore will be up to their usual heroics.

Anyone else would surprise me to some extent. Not too many eye catching goal scoring strikers around are there? Mbappe will likely score, but doesn't feel like he's going to top the scorers list. Messi & Ronaldo would both like a World Cup.

For the sake popularity would it be possible for an admin to revise the poll and add Niclas Füllkrug to it please?

Interesting how Mbappe received no votes, although I was actually thinking Lautaro Martínez myself before the tournament with Messi getting the most goal/assist contributions.

Honestly though, France certainly know how to get the best from their players.

Mbappe looks like the Brazilian Ronaldo.

 Giroud looks like Gerd Müller.

Griezmann is Zidane in his prime.

Pogba(although injured this time) looks like Makelele.

You watch them for their clubs and they don't perform like that every week, that is for sure.

Surprising with all the football knowledge here no-one picked Mbappe.

My excuse, first time I have seen the thread.

The most logical would have been 1 of PSGs front 3 considering how they are playing this season. The problem is, the World Cup often doesn't work like that and you end up with a player winning it who you wouldn't expect, as seen in the last 3 editions before this. This is why I was thinking someone like Lautaro Martínez and why alot probably chose Lukaku.
