HK85 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 The Birkenhead reds wanting to get close to Pedro Chirivella, bless them. Quote
IgnisExcubitor Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I won't be surprised if @Teso Dos Bichos runs one of those childish Troll Football like accounts on Twitter. 2 Quote
LFCMadLad Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 (edited) Solanke & Origi score the only goals today against Crystal Palace. Edited July 20, 2017 by LFCMadLad Quote
Dr. Gonzo Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/269167-liverpool-fc-complete-andy-robertson-signing 23 year old left back signs from Hull for £10m. Kevin Stewart also is sold to Hull for... some amount of money. No idea if this is a good signing or not, but I don't know how he could be much worse (if worse at all) than Moreno. I suspect he'll be backup to Milner at the start of the season and it'll be up to him to displace him at leftback. Quote
The Artful Dodger Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Not sure if he's good enough for Champions Leauge but he's been great for us, decent defender and can support the attack (see his wonderful goal against Man City). Wish him only the very best. 1 Quote
Dave Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I've been banging the drum for us to go in for him since 2014. After Hulls promotion last year I accepted that ship had sailed. I think Liverpool have a useful squad player here that will be of use to them for many years to come. Quote
Inverted Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 (edited) Holding out for Klopp to suddenly turn him into the next Schmelzer or Piszczek. Edited July 21, 2017 by Inverted Quote
The Liquidator Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Wow, a signing that actually improves Liverpool ~ Congrats Quote

Lucas Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Automatically onto a winner simply because he has to better than that shit for brains carthorse Moreno. That bloke is about as much use as a one legged dog trying to bury a turd on a frozen lake. Quote
Inverted Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Considering how the market is it's actually quite a good price as well. Its basically a choice between spending insane amounts on a proven top-level performer (Walker), spending insane amounts on a very raw talent with massive potential (Mendy), or making a modest move for a solid, quality player who could develop a bit further into a top-level PL full-back. Fans will always want the flashy move but I can't fault Liverpool here. Quote
IgnisExcubitor Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 I know it was only a friendly, but I thought Andrew Robertson was really good. On the other hand, Moreno in the first half was really atrocious. And this is not me having a go just for the sake of it. Quote

Moreno was his usual self and Robertson when he came on was quality. A significant upgrade. Quote
IgnisExcubitor Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Moreno was brilliant this time. I really hope the lad learns from this. If he is going to stay, then this Moreno is the one I want. Quote
The Artful Dodger Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Sturridge again, Klopp must be finding it hard to be sympathetic now. Salah looks good but not sure Liverpool will improve enough to fight for the title. Quote
LFCMike Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 The thing with Sturridge is, he's a brilliant footballer and only a handful in the league can finish like he does. People just need to accept that he's a luxury and isn't going to be available every week for however long he is here. It's not like two or three years ago where he was by far our best player after Suarez had left and we were so reliant on him. We have plenty of goals across the front four or five players now and it's a huge bonus when Sturridge is available. Great option off the bench or to come into the starting 11 in certain games. Quote

There's about as much football knowledge in that room as an expired mushroom, total whoppers each and every one of them. We didn't score enough goals despite being amongst the highest scoring teams in the league Ince mate, it was our defence that let us down. Its like he's been living in a hole and been called up to pundit because everyone else was on the sick. Knobhead. Quote
Machado Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 That Sturridge goal is something else. He's talented enough to compete for the European golden boot but unfortunately his body didn't/doesn't let him. Quote
LFCMadLad Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Rumours Lallana has suffered an injury in training that could potentially rule him out for 4 months. So, it seems our luck with injuries is carrying on from last season. Sturridge & Lallana already. Fuck off. Quote
LFCMike Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 A central player is an absolute must now. Even though it was important prior to this news Quote
