I've got to say, this PL trend of top teams playing bang-average goalies becasue they've got latin names and little bit of a first touch does make things a lot more entertaining. Not everyone is Alisson/Ederson.

Pep hoodwinked the entire country to get the keepers to think they’re an outfield player, from 2nd all the way down to Sunday league. It’s extremely impressive. There’s probably 2-3 outside Ederson/Allison in the country good enough.

Not a great performance but conceding a goal that was a penalty that probably shouldn't have been a penalty scored by a player that probably should've been sent off and a goal that was supposed to be a cross does still feel like we got short changed.

As for Raya, all we've done is introduce an element of risk at the back. Never been a massive fan of keepers like him and Onana. Even if they pull off being a ball playing keeper, it doesn't really add that much. There's no visible, positive impact in Raya's distribution compared to Ramsdale either. Especially not one that's worth dropping Ramsdale. Play the better keeper.

If Emi Martinez played for 1 of a few other clubs, there would be a fuss made about Arsenal's mistake in letting him go (Salah-Chelsea) and there would at least be a 3 way conversation going on. Internationally, Brazil & Argentina very much flip the conversation for many non Premier League bubble football followers. Including FIFA teams of whatever & the Ballon D'or thing.
