Historically we are crap at Southampton, whether you can ever read anything into a trend like that I don't know, it used to be "long way to travel" as the reason, but that's not an excuse now the players fly there in 50 minutes.

It will be an interesting test because they will come out, we haven't really faced that yet away. We've been beaten 1-0 at Huddersfield and Brighton who weren't exactly gunning for goals.

Boring but still the biggest league fixture in world football.

Fergie used to give it a go and there were some cracking fixtures. Moyes, LVG & Mourinho however have made it such a turgid affair.

0-3 United.

Definitely not, Real Madrid v Barcelona is easily bigger. I'd probably rather watch Rangers and Celtic, it just lacks all entertainment for the neutral (though obviously derbies/rivalries aren't for neutrals).

Have Man Utd and Liverpool ever really been in competition with each other?

Whenever Liverpool have been the best team in the land Man Utd weren't near and vice versa. You can count on one hand the seasons they were close.

The Rafa facts season was the last one, I think.

They don’t let many in and have scored a lot of goals

Jose never is attacking in big away games

They do what needs to be done to maximise points return. Good strategy but never great for the neutrals. They could easily win.
