According to saudi experts there is only one possible explanation for the 2016 American Elections and the 2017 British Elections: Women don´t know how to win elections. B|

You joke, and this is not to do with women but similar to Clinton, May basically said vote me because I'm not that loon over there.

I´m not sure if it´s because of the social networks but elections seem to be much closer and unpredictable almost everywhere, with the exception of the 2nd turn in France.

I could be British if I wanted to. Whats happening?

Religious fundamentalists and nutjobs set to give Tories the added seats to push things over the line.

I still can't help laughing at Theresa May, Ben Gummer and Lynton Crosby for their huge failure of a campaign. They had the obvious advantage of knowing that there would be election before their opposition.

The Tories completely deserve this punishment that they have been received, and of course May's position is surely untenable.

If it wasn't for the brilliant campaign by Ruth Davidson who led the Scottish Tory surge in Scotland, their overall position would have been even more precarious. And Tories' Scottish success weakens Sturgeon's hand with a second independence referendum.

I wonder if the war criminal Blair will pipe up on these results. Margaret Beckett looked bitter and Labour's success tonight which was funny.

A disastrous result for us all really, aside from your party allegiance this was a horrific campaign from May, this greatly damages us when  Brexit is the main political issue over the next few years.

Tory complacency?

Tribal instinct kicking in for Labour?

Boris Johnson is favourite to replace Theresa May should she step down, imagine the scenes.

Christ.

He wasn't interested after the Brexit referendum so I don't expect his stance to have changed. He's a bit of a bottlejob

Gove knifed him before he could declare. Hard to start a campaign that's already been sabotaged, think the smart money would be on BoJo as next leader.

At least this hopefully marks the end of one nation conservatism and we get a genuine conservative option to vote for again.

Labour trying to big up that they've won and should form the next government xD

They're miles behind a majority. Tory party needed to lose more than this.

Scottish gains have put them in power after years of celtic racialists banging on about the English Tory, you couldn't make it up.

I would be shocked if the DUP aren't up for blocking pro-IRA Corbyn.

The DUP are more Tory than Tory, the North of Ireland is going to get decent roads.

72% turnout of young voters (18-24).

Whatever your stance on politics is it not great that that number is so high? Obviously could be much higher but Corbyn seems to have finally inspired younger people to vote even if it wasn't for his own party.

Paul Nuttall nowhere near so UKIP are all out now.

Diane Abbott is reelected.

Tim Farron keeps his seat after all.

Labour have taken Canterbury off the Tories which they've held for 100 years.

despite the despicable smear campaign against her in the media, she managed to increase her majority by 10k xD
