cb_96 Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 Done a bit of analysis on this one, really fancy Spurs to nil. Newcastle’s injuries and current tactics make it so hard to against Spurs, fancy 3-0
Honey Honey Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Performance can't be worse than last week can it? We might look ok til 1 behind but collapse at 2 behind.

You tired after 60 or 70 minutes and it will become a cricket score and all you get is “we’ve got to roll our sleeves up“. He frustrated the living shit out of me as a manager, I can’t imagine he will do much else for you guys. I know your pain it’s a shame
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 25, 2019 Tottenham have looked really poor this season I think. Picked up where they finished last season. They're frequently struggling to break down these teams who come there and sit back. They need Lo Celso to be good.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 25, 2019 Why are Spurs so Spurs? Nailed on 70th minute equaliser and eventual win again.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 25, 2019 Very composed finish by Joelinton by the way.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 25, 2019 That is astounding. How on earth is that not a penalty
Rick Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 VAR continues to be a complete mystery...thats a stonewall pen.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Just now, Dan said: That is astounding. How on earth is that not a penalty But VAR said it wasn't a pen, so it wasn't a pen.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 25, 2019 Lucas Moura wears Walcott pyjamas.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 25, 2019 This is the supposed upside of VAR as well. Christ almighty.
Rick Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I've got Harry Kane in an anytime goalscorer treble with Sterling and Barnes, so was expecting him to be taking a fucking pen
LFCMike Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I'd be fuming if I was a Spurs fan, that is unbelievable
carefreeluke Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Lo Celso has picked up some very good positions since coming on, don’t know why the Spurs players haven’t got the ball into him yet.
Dr. Gonzo Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 VAR is a nice idea, but shit referees are still shit referees. It just makes the VAR referee look like the fucking goon they are when they have more time and angles and video footage to get the decision wrong. FIFA should put VAR on hold until AI improves enough so a computer can make the final decision, as opposed to an idiot making the final decision.
6666 Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 You can still disagree with decisions. VAR isn't about making things black and white, it's about the officials actually viewing the incident before making a decision. If you disagree with the decision then have a go at the officials, the replays are just replays. It doesn't enforce the rules, it's just a tool to help enforce the rules.
Administrator Stan Posted August 25, 2019 Author Administrator Posted August 25, 2019 Premier League loves an away win this weekend.

The VAR ref has looked at that replay and still made the incorrect decision. That is unforgivable.
carefreeluke Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 It looked like Kane’s leg initiated the contact to me, I don’t know if it was as clear cut as some are saying. I could be wrong though but I was unsure after the replays still.
Dr. Gonzo Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Well I think Spurs were robbed, but well done to Newcastle to get their first points of the season here- I didn’t think that would happen
Danny Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 How can you have VAR and not give that?? Kane’s left foot hits the ground in a completely natural position, the defender falls through and brings him down. Genuinely baffled at that decision
