IgnisExcubitor Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 (edited) Read news that stated that 50% of serious cases in France, who are admitted to the ICU are under 60. Here the biggest issue is arseholes, who are running away from quarantine (happened in two different cases, before they caught and returned to quarantine) and secondly people who are refusing to get tested or treated citing religion (happened in two cases). Also, there has been a case in Japan of a individual getting reinfected. That's scary. Edited March 14, 2020 by IgnisExcubitor Quote

Just a small correction - it's not different strains but rather different viruses belonging to the same family. 1 Quote

There have been a few similar cases in China and South Korea too but it's inconclusive and it's suggested that it's likely a result of errors in testing rather than an actual reinfection. Can't rule it out though... and we don't know much about the length of immunity after recovery anyway so it's indeed a bit scary. Quote

Popular Post carefreeluke Posted March 14, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 14, 2020 Quite an emotional moment here right now in Spain. Everyone just came to their balconies at 10pm with a minute of clapping to pay tribute to the health system and all the people working to help fight this disease. Quite a striking moment. 6 Quote

Here in the UK that'd be met with a complaint to the local council for noise nuisance 3 Quote
