Silver lining is City have lost, so that puts top 4 in our hands.

It doesn't mate! City are only 2 points behind us with a game in hand.

Arsenal are 6 behind with 2 games in hand and we all know they are the absolute specialists in gaining momentum late in the season to sneak top four.

We have Stoke away next, a ground that we always find tough. It'll be even tougher this time though as we can barely put a team together.

I don't think we'll make top four personally. Two points dropped tonight is a massive blow.

Absolute shitbags. Got ask questions of Klopp looking to just see the game out so early when we were clearly the better side, especially second half. That Klavan is absolute dogshit, what's he doing for the equaliser? xD

It's completely down to Klopp!

Taking off Coutinho and going to 3 at the back, with 30 minutes to go, whilst we are having our best spell of the game, against a club that can't defend, when we can't defend ourselves, is absolutely piss poor shit your pants management. And that isn't the first time he's done it this season.

Klopp is absolutely brilliant against a team that has a go at us but his game management against inferior teams is poor.

Ah yeah, I read the table wrong. It would be in our hands if we'd fucking held onto the win.

Pretty poor of us to turn up for so little of the match... pretty disgraceful tbh.

20 minutes at the start of the second half we were very good, and then up steps Klopp. He's got to start learning lessons soon because time and time again we drop points from winning positions against sides we should be sweeping aside.

Tonight we were all over them and had taken the lead so why the fuck does Klopp decide to take off our best attacker, go 3 at the back, drop off 20 yards, and invite pressure? Especially when he's been punished for doing the same thing countless times previously?

Its shocking game management. It was only a matter of time before we got a third, no need whatsoever to hand the momentum to them with half an hour left.

First time I've been to see City live in over a year and what a game! Brilliant stuff from us tonight, the scoreline flattered Boro they were awful.

Me did our bit and Spurs, Southampton and Arsenal have done us big favours. I'm almost starting to believe we can do it.

Pathetic from Liverpool. Honestly can't get my head around how you manage to blow those games with such regularity.

No-one seems to want that 4th spot. Chelsea are champions barring a disaster. Spurs will get 2nd, Man City will get 3rd. Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd are dropping far too many silly points.

And it won't be the last either. I think he was scared they'd score yesterday and he wanted to repair the mistakes from the first encounter but in doing so he gave up our best possession spell of the game. I don't think anyone was expecting them to even see Mignolet for the rest of the game but making that change just shortchanged the midfield and then a goal was always going to be inevitable when you let anyone run at us for that long.

On a side note, its nice to see Origi playing a lot more confidently and it took a few goals to get him back up to snuff but hes getting there slowly. Now we just have to keep him fit for the rest of the season.

We've lost 16 points from winning positions this season, almost exclusively in the last 20 minutes of games.. 16 points!

Marco Silva has done an amazing job at Hull really, lost Snodgrass in January too.

They're probably the weakest squad in the league on paper but I really fancy them to have enough to stay up now.

Origi was very good last night but anyone think he should have done more when Matip headed across goal? Looked to me like he could have just threw himself at it but was scared of colliding with the post. Klavan should have scored too.

Not sure where you've got that from but i don't think that's actually correct. Anyway, you can ignore the draws with Tottenham, Man City and United as they're good results and not a problem, even though we were leading. Just the two games against Bournemouth is 5 points down the drain.  Sunderland away too, they're really the only games I'll look back on and think 'if only'.

HB is having a laugh, possession and useless ball passing around the back four means shit. We conceded a goal with Courtois having a calamity moment, City had all the possession and a good first half. In the second when Matić came on they were reduced to nothing apart from Stones being a waste of money and missing a empty goal. We weren't our best far from it but we got the points and that is what matters. Swansea held until the 89' and then conceded three for fuck sake. Any how i am sure after Guardiola spends another 300 mill on players like Stones, City will be the best team in the world hands down :clown:.

Bring on Bournemouth

Klopp's game management is a joke sometimes.  How can he be thinking "okay,  my defence is good enough to see out this game for the last 20 minutes"  I mean is he fucking mad or just stupid? One of the worse defences in the league for throwing away games and he shuts down all momentum we had and does that.  It makes me sick to my stomach,  it's not the first time it's happened either.  His substitutes leave something to be desired too,  it's either too late to make any sort of impact or far to early which changes the complete dynamic of the second half.  He needs to have a long hard look at his management last night,  surely he'll admit that it was retarded.

Games coming thick and fast now. The 'business end' of the season.

Middlesbrough's slim chances of survival could be helped if they overcome Burnley. And in turn that could drag Burnley down even further. West Ham vs Swansea is also an intriguing game at the bottom of the table.

No top of the table clashes, but with Chelsea playing away against a resilient Bournemouth side who picked up a 2-2 draw at Liverpool, can Man City & Spurs (both at home) put pressure on Chelsea before the evening kick-off?

You not thinking it's correct is hardly a surprise:

Me: "This circle is black"

Mike: "It might not be"

Anyway, on top of the games you mentioned there was also West Ham if I'm not mistaken? There's probably more (I can't be arsed to check again) so I'm not far off.

It's still a hell of a lot of points dropped from winning positions whichever way you slice it.

Expect nothing at Stoke. 4 of our best players will be missing and 80% of the rest are literally dead on their feet following absolutely no rotation or no rest through substitutions in games.

2-0 Stoke.

Or he doesn't make any at all. Klopps use of substitutions is always poor, In all instances he seems to get it wrong. Like last night he made one far too early and got the personnel totally wrong and then didn't make another change at all despite players being absolutely out on their feet (Firmino & Clyne). As you say he often leaves substitutions far too late to have any impact when chasing a game and in other certain games he's astonishingly not made any at all even when the game is already in the bag and there's a good chance to give some players a rest. He hardly ever seems to get it right?

Hes a great manager and a lovely bloke but fuck me his game management and use of substitutions make me want to scream sometimes.

Another change in defence needed on Sunday. I'd like Holgate back in the centre and Kenny right back but Pennington will just be the one to come in for Williams.

He mentioned last week that Schniederlin could be fit for this one and he needs to be, only been here 5 minutes and he's vital to the team.

2-0 Stoke.

having said that, Stoke are on a shit run and are just generally playing poor.

actually, sounds like Stoke will win now xD

I think we will manage to win, we usually are decent against the "small teams" but you never know. They got a point at Anfield they will be full of confidence, i admire them for playing attacking football against every side. Not sure how much this will do them good in the long run.

You need not worry. They had 30 % possession and managed 2 shots on target yet still came away with a 2-2 draw.

Its the Liverpool way.
