Going to sound a bit of a loon here but I can see Spurs nicking this.

Got a very funny feeling they are catching City at the most ideal time whilst a few players are out and you just know it's written for Kane to have a say.

Kane's not trained at all (?) so I'm guessing he won't even play.

I was coming in to say the same. Think Spurs win this, hopefully in a shithouse way.

Foden & De Bruyne are out and a lot of players just started training so we probably looking at mostly the team from last sunday of mostly fringe players

Steffen

Cancelo - Dias - Ake - Mendy

Rodrigo - Fernandinho - Gundogan

Mahrez - Torres - Grealish

BENCH:- Ederson, Walker, Stones, Bernardo, Sterling, Jesus, Edozie

Pleased to see Dele Alli back.

Must have been tough to go from a top star name to a Mourinho reject.

He lost his place under Poch though, didn’t he? I do hope he finds his way again, when he was at his best he was a truly fun player to watch.

City look pretty comfortable 13 minutes in, which I guess you’d expect.

I think he suffered for form during what was a bad season for Spurs taking away the European run.

He looked good in spells towards the end of last season, like you say hopefully he can get back to his best.

Harry Kane though, surely there’s no way he’d release a statement about being misrepresented and wanting to give everything to the fans...and then refuse to play. Must be more to it.

And there we are, whether we are to believe it is a different story:

When City broke out before and the ball came in to Ferran Torres feet, he was crying out for a target man to get the ball into.

I'd be amazed if Pep can win the league this season without a top class striker.
