Lucas Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Going to sound a bit of a loon here but I can see Spurs nicking this. Got a very funny feeling they are catching City at the most ideal time whilst a few players are out and you just know it's written for Kane to have a say.

Kane's not trained at all (?) so I'm guessing he won't even play.

Think Spurs win this, hopefully in a shithouse way.

He may not start but he will definitely feature. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11675/12377309/harry-kane-tottenham-boss-nuno-espirito-santo-says-striker-available-to-face-manchester-city
Reluctant Striker Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I think it will be a draw. With Kane scoring the equaliser & refusing to celebrate, having been booed by a noisy minority of Spurs fans..
Happy Blue Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Kane to come on, score an OG then run the length of the field and slide in front of the booing spurs fans
Happy Blue Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Foden & De Bruyne are out and a lot of players just started training so we probably looking at mostly the team from last sunday of mostly fringe players Steffen Cancelo - Dias - Ake - Mendy Rodrigo - Fernandinho - Gundogan Mahrez - Torres - Grealish BENCH:- Ederson, Walker, Stones, Bernardo, Sterling, Jesus, Edozie
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 13, 2021 Subscriber Posted August 13, 2021 Man City often seem to choke in this fixture.

Rick Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 No Kane in the Spurs squad. Nuno said he would be available for it, so he isn’t injured. It must mean the player has refused to play, and in that case he is a cunt.
Administrator Stan Posted August 15, 2021 Author Administrator Posted August 15, 2021 Son against Ake is going to be fun. Defender is a liability and not good enough for Man City.
Whiskey Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Like others have said, it should be a nailed on City win but I can see Spurs nicking it for some reason. Think with all the expectations on City, there's a bottlement in them.
Reluctant Striker Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Pleased to see Dele Alli back. Must have been tough to go from a top star name to a Mourinho reject.

He lost his place under Poch though, didn’t he? I do hope he finds his way again, when he was at his best he was a truly fun player to watch. City look pretty comfortable 13 minutes in, which I guess you’d expect.

I think he suffered for form during what was a bad season for Spurs taking away the European run. He looked good in spells towards the end of last season, like you say hopefully he can get back to his best. Harry Kane though, surely there’s no way he’d release a statement about being misrepresented and wanting to give everything to the fans...and then refuse to play. Must be more to it. And there we are, whether we are to believe it is a different story:
Devil Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 When City broke out before and the ball came in to Ferran Torres feet, he was crying out for a target man to get the ball into. I'd be amazed if Pep can win the league this season without a top class striker.
Moderator Tommy Posted August 15, 2021 Moderator Posted August 15, 2021 Oooh close one. That was nicely done by Son.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted August 15, 2021 Subscriber Posted August 15, 2021 Spurs putting a good effort in.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted August 15, 2021 Subscriber Posted August 15, 2021 Forget Kane I'd like us to go get Son.
