Currently in Iceland beautiful place brilliant at the blue lagoon and seeing the northern lights. Very expensive though. Hard rock cafe brilliant here to. 5 Christmas decorations for about 75 pounds. Lot of money for a pint to fantastic place to visit though and the locals are very friendly.

Always wanted to go to Iceland. Only thing that's kinda put me off is how disappointed I'd be if I didn't see the Northern Lights too well. Are you going to do the golden circle tour?

You would probably be better putting this in the Holidays thread fella.

So I've decided today to start playing football again. I'd like to become an amateur player at some point and I think I can cos I believe in myself, but in reality it's unlikely. The whole plot here is to get more fit. I'm fat as fuck and need to lose weight and eat healthier.

The best advice is just; eat less, do more.

I've lost 7 lbs myself over the last 3 weeks and literally all I've done is cut down how much I am eating and walking more. I'm still eating shite, just less of it.

Depending on your weight, a 30 minute brisk walk every day will burn between 200 and 300 calories. Combine that with eating one less mars bar per day and that's a deficit of 500 calories compared to what you'd usually be. 1lb equates to around 3500 calories, so a 500 deficit per day will mean the loss of 1lbs a week.

Rab's right. It can be such a small change. I do a walk round the block at work on a lunchtime and started to have soup rather than wraps for my lunch and it's making a difference already.

I think you're math is wrong Rab. As all Mars bars up in your neck of the woods are deep fried your one Mars equates to 7 gazillion calories which will explain your recent good weight loss. For those of us who just straight up eat it out of the wrapper [no batter here thank you very much] the impact is not as large. Your premise is correct though. :P

Drink Water. Plenty of Water. Seems unimportant but it flushes everything out your body. And it doesn't have to be boring. Stick slices of lemon or lime in.

Honestly, I've never looked back. And my girlfriend has got an extra minute and 27 seconds out of me at morning's and bedtimes as a result, so winner winner chicken dinner for her.

Apparently it comes from the Vegas gambling casinos.. A chicken dinner there used to cost $2 so when a player won the saying was "winner winner chicken dinner"

5 days off and the weather is looking good to mild... might get out in the garden and get an early start and make a push for member of the month May/June/July or try and retain my Post of the Year status with 'Garden Project 2'  '"Return to Eden"

Call me an attention seeker, but I am a bit bothered about the following.

firstly let's have it clear that I'm not talking about anyone on this forum. Personally I think here I've been doing alright and getting along with most, so I have no complaints.

Its more in my personal life, I have a lot of projects and I like to be myself but it seems that "self" is one people don't like to be around. Sure autistic lads aren't the best socially, but it does suck being always the second or third option to everyone, and when you have an incredible creation, there is still no one paying attention to it.

Im writing a book but I've been on a 7 month hiatus because I'm not too sure how I could advertise it successfully. Nobody is gonna care either.
