The Artful Dodger Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 (edited) I know I moan a lot but this deserves a moan. So work have been sound and let us finish at 1pm, only issue is my train to London is at 15:47. So I get to Lime Street and see if they can change it to an earlier time. I'm expecting a small fee to change it but that's fine. Get there, the Avanti staff can't help me at all, have to call a number. 30 minutes to get through and 'no, you must pay the full £66.00'...I thought this was the time of goodwill and generosity? What a mess our transport is. Anyway. Happy New year. Edited December 31, 2021 by The Artful Dodger 1 Quote

Danny Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Doing some procrastinating as I'm writing an 3000 word essay due for tomorrow. Writing of the essay isn't that hard, actually writing is something else entirely. And then referencing. But I've just chucked out 1000 words and hopefully I'll be done by 4am (maybe?) Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted January 15, 2022 Moderator Posted January 15, 2022 Even traditional bakeries here use these machines to cut the bread these days. I remember when I was a kid, my parents had one of those: I always sensed some sort of danger around that machine. Quote

Everywhere has the machines but the difference is that many places have them behind the counter for employee use only Quote
