I think looking at Koemans past you probably could have made the judgement that this was a shady appointment, but then most people were saying it was a good move. I guess that's the difference between having smart people running your football club because maybe if there was someone better they would t have gone for Koeman.

I personally think Silva would be a great choice, he's shown that he gets maximum performances at every club he's been to whilst playing good football. Watford won't have him for long but they won't need him for long either as they have a sustainable model from top to bottom.

AVB to Everton would be an interesting move. Checking his Wikipedia, he only turned 40 last month. Was 33 when managing Chelsea...

seems like a lifetime ago.

AVB seems the best 'big' realistic option for Everton.

If that's their big realistic option they're going down.

Everton are shite but if they go down they've got to kneecap some of their players or something because that's unacceptable.

  • The title was changed to Next Everton Manager - Allardyce to Be Hired?

Laughing stock. Done defending this club and anyone associated with it.

Could do worse to be honest but should be aiming so much higher.

Here’s to Everton aiming to just stay in the Premier League for the next few years :hh:

Allardyce probably guarantees survival but looks like they board have panicked after the last couple of showings, shipping 9 goals against two average sides in the space of 3 days is not ideal, Allardyce will improve them at the back but he's no use if they want to aim higher than staying in the league, which they should be.

It's a sad state of affairs. Even if Watford had given permission, id question Silva moving to you lot at the moment. Wouldn't put it past you lot going for him in the summer with promise of a huge transfer kitty but this season he'd just be risking too much with a'll the squad issues you lot have.

Fat arse will keep you up, probably be in midtable within the month.
