Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 24, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 24, 2017 More arsed about him bringing Roy fucking Keane with him. I'd like to hear someone explain how O'Neill is a better idea than Dyche (who I also don't really want).
Toony
Dear me, I don't rate O'Neill and think the football would be dire to watch. I think Dyche would do a good job but it looks like you've completely given up on him.

Honey Honey
O'Neill's football isn't the worst, it's just one level above that because he does like wingers and full backs bombing on.
Danny
I think looking at Koemans past you probably could have made the judgement that this was a shady appointment, but then most people were saying it was a good move. I guess that's the difference between having smart people running your football club because maybe if there was someone better they would t have gone for Koeman. I personally think Silva would be a great choice, he's shown that he gets maximum performances at every club he's been to whilst playing good football. Watford won't have him for long but they won't need him for long either as they have a sustainable model from top to bottom.
Dave
Martin O'Neill was completely sussed out at Sunderland but because of the culture we've created with fire sackings it has hit a point where managers like him, Moyes and Pardew are still getting jobs. If that's their big realistic option they're going down. Everton are shite but if they go down they've got to kneecap some of their players or something because that's unacceptable. Could do worse to be honest but should be aiming so much higher. Toony
Allardyce probably guarantees survival but looks like they board have panicked after the last couple of showings, shipping 9 goals against two average sides in the space of 3 days is not ideal, Allardyce will improve them at the back but he's no use if they want to aim higher than staying in the league, which they should be. Dave
I understand it's not ideal and it doesn't fit in to their philosophy but appointing an organised Manager is the correct move at this present time given the desperate shambles they look at the moment. HK85
Would have been furious with this if it happened a few weeks ago but we're beyond desperate. Whoever it is needs to be appointed before Wednesday.
Rick
It's a sad state of affairs. Even if Watford had given permission, id question Silva moving to you lot at the moment. Wouldn't put it past you lot going for him in the summer with promise of a huge transfer kitty but this season he'd just be risking too much with a'll the squad issues you lot have. Fat arse will keep you up, probably be in midtable within the month.
The Artful Dodger
Survival is priority for Everton, maybe it’s a sacrifice worth making. All that hope well and truly gone now though.

Honey Honey
They didn't need to do this. Everyone at the bottom thinks they are going down, it's like a disease. They've let that thinking consume them.
