Yeah I switched it off after 5 minutes xD

Then I tried Love but switched that off after 23 minutes.

Struggling to find anything good. How is there so much money in Hollywood? The quality is awful for the investment they make.

Taboo and Westworld are the only new series that I've truly enjoyed recently.

Oasis started well, but there's only the pilot released so far, and it's yet to be seen if Amazon will make a full series out of it.

Other than that, I started watching a lot of shows, but gave up sooner or later; there's definitely lack of quality.

I started watching "The Leftovers". The plot sounded interesting to me, but honestly I mainly watch it because Max Richter's doing the soundtrack :3_grin:

I started watching it last year and honestly just had to switch it off after 20 minutes or so, it was just so fucking weird and pretentious with annoying sounds and strange camera work... I keep on hearing that it's really good now though, not sure if I should give it another go?

Well, I've only seen the first episode so far, and I liked it. Big fan of the soundtrack, and the story has me intrigued. We'll see how it goes :D

Been watching "You Me Her" with the girlfriend. The Story is about a married couple in a state of uncertainty that comes across a college student/escort. It goes from there as they turn what they have into a 3 way relationship i forget the word for it. Its funny and awkward enough to hold my attention, alot of it is shot in my city and the greater vancouver area though they claim its Portland o.O I think its a netflix show...

Just started watching Mr Robot on Amazon Prime and have already made my way through Season 1.  Excellent show.  Nothing is as it seems.

been watching Inside The Tube: Going Underground

Find these kind of programmes fascinating. Didn't know the Northern Line is 70 ft below ground level. Bank of England vaults are actually under the Central Line at Bank station.

So many times I've been on the tube without actually realising where I'm travelling or what I'm travelling under (or over in some cases).

There's a programme on ITV later this week about 'The Knowledge'. All about the black cab taxi service in London for which you require 'the knowledge' of all streets and areas of London and what it takes to become a black cab driver.

I finished Mr Robot late last week and loved it.  A complete mess-with-your-mind sort of drama.  Brilliant.

I also binge watched Stranger Things as I'd never seen it before.  Everyone I know was talking about it so I had to check it out.  A great series and a real throwback to the 80s.  A nod to Stephen King too so that earned extra points from me!

Started watching The Sonhttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt3839822/

It's a western drama following three generations of a family building an oil empire in Texas, starring Pierce Brosnan. Started out okay and looks quite promising. @Viva la FCB you might want to check this out.

Ive been looking for something else to watch. I should get a chance to dive in next week, cheers.

Geez everyone is watching mr robot now. I'd better get with the program.

Good shout on stranger things. Really cool show and gives you massive 80's nostalgia in a way i hadn't felt since my first time watching Freaks and Geeks (essential viewing for anyone who hasn't seen it).

Has anybody watched '13 Reasons Why' yet? I've heard good things and is on my to-watch list.

Currently I've got on the go:

Big Little Lies - only watched the first ep, but haven't gone back to it for a while

Billions

Chance - finishing off season 1

Legion - albeit season is done. I really enjoyed the first season, however fucking weird it got in the middle, and anything with Jemaine Clement gets my approval

Marvel's Iron Fist - finished it now, but largely pretty trash in all

Taboo (yet to start)

Walking Dead - I'm at least half a season behind, maybe more, when I get desperate I'll run head first into a wall, then maybe catch up

And to join in with The Leftovers chat earlier, I watched the first season and really struggled with the second and didn't get all the way through. To be honest, surprised I got through the first.

The Son keeps getting better and better, 4 episodes out now, good story, and Pierce Brosnan is quality.

Also, American Gods premiere is next Sunday!

Made the brutalising call over the weekend to subject myself to a full re-watch of Game of Thrones from the start of season one.

Amazing how many little references now make sense now after being so much more familiar with the back stories and fan theories... so many little seeds being cleverly planted in the dialog even in the first episode.

Top show.  And even better in those early seasons before it become obsessed with trying to constantly outdo itself and surpass the highs of previous seasons.

I've just finished a French web-series called 'Le visiteur du futur'. It's a comedy about someone who travels back in time to stop future disasters. It's very funny, and the episodes are very short so if you have a few minutes spare check out the first few episodes and you might get hooked like I did.

Polished off the first episode over the weekend and im sort of in the same boat. Its interesting enough with the back story and flash backs to a young Eli being captured that i like where its going. Bit wishy washy on the first one it had some sleepy moments but ill keep watching i like where it seems to be going ^_^
