Group F Matchday 3 - 27 June - South Korea 2-0 Germany, Mexico 0-3 Sweden

Recommended Posts

Wednesday 27th June
South Korea vs Germany
Mexico vs Sweden

Both kick-off at 3pm

Mexico only need a draw to guarantee qualification.

Germany only need to match Sweden's result as they have the better head-to-head.

Sweden need to better Germany's result and hope that they don't win against South Korea.

I’ll be missing these matches due to work and I’m so irritated. But at least I’ll be back for England v Belgium.

Germany need to keep a clean sheet and fill the net a bit to ensure progression and maybe win the group. (Thus avoiding Brazil next round)

Loew goes back to the 2014 4-3-3. Goretzka starts although I'd still prefer Gundogan over Khedira. Also means that 19 of the 20 outfield players in the squad will play in the Group stages.Still Doesn't know his best XI.

 South Korea's game is sole based on the premise that the referee will overlook one of their fouls at some points and allow them to catch us on the back foot.

Would Sane have made any difference to this team?

It can't hurt to have someone that can go at defenders and beat them, this team lacks such a thing.

Those Löw memes are disburting.

Germany have looked better in 2nd halves. They'll probably step up now.
