I went crazy when arsenal beat Roma on penalties but tonight was a different level. I feel like I've taken something it really is amazing

Machado Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Kane is just as focused and has the same will to win as Ronaldo, and hey, he's not an annoying narcissist!
Administrator Stan Posted July 3, 2018 Author Administrator Posted July 3, 2018 FUCKING LOVE THE PASSION.
...Dan Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 We were comfortable before the substitutions. Good job we hung on for penalties.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted July 3, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 3, 2018 That is quite simply the biggest boost we could possibly have needed as a football nation from the national team's point of view. The single biggest monkey on our backs, overcome. This has united people in a way I've not seen from England. I've only ever wanted to feel this way about England. Things feel right again. On we fucking go.

Honey Honey Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Can't remember much absolutely rat arsed right now. Back is soaked from beer flying everywhere plus sweat. Celebrated with so many strangers, unreal scenes. Superb atmosphere where I was. All I remember is England weren't great but Colombia were absolute turd until Southgate let them come forward.
6666 Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Don't think I've ever seen us win on penalties but in hindsight it was a good thing that it actually went to penalties. A dramatic win on penalties will do a lot more for the team than winning a shit game with a penalty. As for the game, there wasn't much that actually troubled either keeper and we were handed the lead when Colombia's shithousing gifted us a penalty. After that it was pretty easy for us until Dier came on. Not that he was terrible but it pretty much gave the signal to Colombia that they can now just have the ball. Going forward, Sweden should be easy and I'd fancy us against Russia or even Croatia. Not going to the final now would be a surprise. We do have to find a way other than set pieces to score past teams though.

The Käiser Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 23 minutes ago, Stan said: well yeah cos Maguire was just kicking the 2nd ball out and the ref said play on without him looking. It'd be unfair to let it stand. Colombian players barely moaned at that which was impressive for them given what they were moaning at before. Also, Stones accidentally hit Falcao's head. Not a chance hes done that on purpose . The Dier corner. Yeah you can have that one. Ya surprised they didn't. Because ref said play and an ENGLISH player threw the ball there. So he should know if his team is ready. So by that reasoning: if there is a break on I would tell my defenders to strike up a conversation with the linesman to negate the goal

Anyone who thinks it made a difference that the entire England defence and goalkeeper stopped and did nothing to prevent the goal because the whistle had gone are just being biased .
