This however, I don't agree with. He's been Croatia's second best this tournament but on paper on normal circumstances for me I'd take Rakitic and Mandzukic before him.

Looked like a penalty to me.. He followed the ball all the way and knew what he was doing there.. Had he not been looking right at it or it was an unlucky deflection then no..

two obvious things being missed right now . If a corner is swung in, and without getting a significant deflection hits someone's hand away from the body, that's a penalty. VAR didn't make the decision, the referee did.
