Die Entscheidung ist definitiv. Ich glaube, das beantwortet alle Fragen." His statement translates to: "Sancho will be playing with us the coming season. This decision is final. That answers all questions, I believe." Looks like all this English media talk about Sancho joining Man Utd was premature. Zorc furtheron announced Sancho's contract has been extended til 2023 last year. He’s got previous to be fair......

Redcanuck Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 This isn't over yet. Still expecting it to be done.
Inverted Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 The difference between Zorc's statement with Dembele and the latest Sancho statement, is that Dembele reacted by throwing a complete bitch fit, forced a move, and is now stuck with a torched career at a dying club. Hopefully Sancho has a few more brain cells.

Hopefully Sancho has a few more brain cells. There's another considerable difference: Dembele was unprecedented, now BVB have had this experience and they promised their members nothing comparable would happen again and insisted they'd rather lose out on money than let such behavior occur again. It would cause an enormous turmoil within the club, if they backed down to a player like this for a second time. That's not to say it's impossible they sell Sancho, if Manchester United are offering insane money, that is significant more than the 120m Euro asking price.
DeadLinesman Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I wonder if we use Bayern as an intermediary, they’ll roll over and sell him for £7.86p and packet of crisps.

There are lots of reports that discussions are still going on and that United still expect this to get done. Still nearly two months to go in the transfer window and United never seem to get transfers done early or easily any more.

Reports from the same resources that reported Haland would join Man Utd in January. By the way the deadline was set in February, Dortmund have always be clear about one thing that a transfer would be made early or never. It's not like they were desperate to sell.

Cicero Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Dortmund still firm on their 120 million evaluation
Danny Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Read this thing about why United are right in sticking to their valuation and they just don’t come across as serious...if you want him pay for him, Dortmund have him contracted until 2023

Cicero Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Heard we get an additional 20 million from Real every time Hazard takes a shit.
Redcanuck Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Seems like there have been some breakthroughs on this. Still think this gets done.
Devil-Dick Willie Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Breakthroughs? Like actually paying the price they're asking?
Redcanuck Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I suspect they will have to meet Dortmund 's valuation. Just a question of how much down and how many instalments. Some of it may be add ons , but I would think a lot.

Cicero Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Final take yet its still 20 million below the asking price
Administrator Batard Posted September 25, 2020 Administrator Posted September 25, 2020 If this is true, Man Utd really do suffer from delusions of grandeur.
Danny Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 How do you pay £80m for Maguire but refuse to meet Dortmund’s asking price for Sancho?
Administrator Batard Posted September 25, 2020 Administrator Posted September 25, 2020 Just now, Danny said: How do you pay £80m for Maguire but refuse to meet Dortmund’s asking price for Sancho? This is why they will pay it. The same thing happened with Fernandes. They've not got the clout anymore to play hardball in negotiations and their sheer stupidity pricing out average players from moves due to absurd valuations and their obscene wages highlights everything wrong with Ed Woodwards reign at United. If they don't cave by October 5th it'll be January 31st, but they will pay it. It's irrelevant what he cost them from City and focusing on it as some papers and fans have is unhelpful.
