He had a decent reputation and some hype which has been dented by his Roma stint.

Could turn out to be ok but it's definitely a very big step-down from the likes of Conte or Poch.

What was the point in appointing Jose to take them to a final, sack him before that final, then replace him with the guy who was sacked to bring in Jose Mourinho at Roma?

Levy used to be considered a genius of the football genius, but it seems like once Spurs grew to a point where they expected they could start to be genuine challengers… Levy’s not really had a clue on what to do next.

They seem miles away from the side that made a CL final a few years back.

So a decision made by the new DoF rather than Levy, has to be somewhat inspiring

This appointment is anything but that.

Apparently talks have now broken down on this one. Spurs unwilling to make up 'fiscal differences' according to Fabrizio Romano and are now looking for another alternative. If, as it looks like, they're trying to one-up Everton for farcical manager hunting (they won't outdo us!), then they'll be after Wenger next.

Well we were linked with Lucien Favre today which got me slightly excited so I imagine he will end up there.

This is crazy. Didn't think they'd have such difficulty in finding a manager.

Starting to think that when Daniel Levy surprised people in the Spurs Amazon Series by admitting he 'got lucky' with the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino he was actually downplaying the situation.

Wonder wtf is happening in these negotiations with Levy.

Not gonna lie though, would love to see Gattuso managing in England just for the press conferences.

We should just merge clubs tbh
