Anyone know why there was confusion about the coin toss for the shoot out?

Jordi Alba and Spain won the coin toss - but he picked the wrong side.

Chiellini tells Alba he’s picked the wrong side (and lols), Alba asks the refs if he can change his mind (they say no) and then Chiellini I think sort of fucks around with/jokes with Alba.

Spain were the better side on the night but if you're presented chances like the ones Oyarzabal couldn't put away then you were always going to reach a tough position. Morata might have missed the penalty but I think Oyarzabal should take a lot more heat than him honestly.

I dont know if Mancini is going to change much for the finals but in all honestly Immobile shouldn't be starting that game and Chiesa shouldn't be forced into playing a position he cant operate well from.

Feel bad for Dani Olmo first and foremost. Easily Spains best player, gives it his all for 120 mins and then that... cruel game sometimes. Morata... you already know whats going to come of that.. again undeserved and severely.

What a match for a neutral though, that was fantastic. Had a bit of everything.

So Alba thought there was only one coin toss. He seemed to be arguing/complaining  about something

He messed up and picked the wrong end. Requested a change but the ref said no.

Worth mentioning there is absolutely no way Chiellini would be hugging and laughing with the Spanish Captain if it was Ramos.

It's funny to imagine though. xD

This was a good game.

Spain deserved more (what's wrong with me?). I was impressed with Dani Olmo, especially.

The group spirit of the Italians is fantastic, though.
