@Pyfish

Why is it when @Lucas does a doctors cough because he finds a spelling mistake or whatever that propels him at least 8 places up the table and yet when I ask why I was deducted 12 points and get nothing in response???

I do apologise ;) Lucas pays me a lot of money each week to make sure everything goes in his favour.

So... from Round 1, you earnt 5 points. Then when I initially posted the results for the round just gone, you had scored 12 points because I'd got the red card scenario wrong which was what Lucas pointed out, so I then removed those 5 points, but the total score had remained and it had added the new points on top of it, giving you 24 points - this was then corrected when I recalculated the table so you are indeed on 12 points in total, having scored 7 this round and 5 in the previous.

So basically @Lucas is a knob and needs to keep his pie hole shut... xD

Cheaters never prosper mate, not on my watch xD

I would hardly call it cheating if someone else made an innocent mistake in their calculations... but talking of cheating..

Course I pay @Pyfish, how else did I win all his comps last year xD

He's a good lad, never gives me any back chat, just collects his weekly tenner and we move.

If only @Stanand @RandoEFC did the same but sadly they aren't as easily corrupted.

Correct, takes much more than a tenner...

RESULTS
Are you ready @Lucas? I'll need you to go through all of this with your eye for detail. Make sure you've got what you paid for.

image.png

The 'pick your own' team scenario proved to be the decider this week with Liverpool scoring you 9 points if you were one of the two that picked them, which were @RandoEFC and... oh for fuck's sake... @Lucas - who is the top scorer this week with 21 points. I was very impressed with the variety of teams picked - we'll do another scenario like that for the next round.

5+ was a popular choice for the number of goals in Bundesliga on Sunday - despite there only being one game that had goals in it - but it paid off as that game produced 5+ goals do 5 points for the 10 players who chose that option.

All but one person, @Stan, correctly prediced that Aaron Greene would NOT assist a goal for Shamrock Rovers v Ferencvaros - but he still picked up 13 points.

A big welcome to @nawoo who picked up 13 points on their first round with us. @The Liquidator added another big score to keep themselves top of the table with a return of 20 points this week; just 1 behind top scorer Lucas but 6 points ahead overall.

@nudge is in third place with 16 points this week, the same total picked up by @Dan (and nawoo). @JoshBRFC got a respectable score of 12 points for the week in 6th place, along with 9th placed Rando.

9 points was a popular score for this round with @Coma (5th), @Viva la FCB (8th), @Michael (11th), @Bluewolf (12th) and @Rucksackfranzose (14th) all getting that tally. I got 7 points for the week, whilst @Tommy was the lowest scorer with 6 points this week.

@CaaC (John), @DeadLinesman and @Dr. Gonzo failed to predict.

Just to confirm, is this goals in the game, or goals that Bayern will score?

What a week for you to pick that specific game where Liverpool and Celtic both hit 9. Trying to be clever backfired, I went for a side in a high scoring league who average 3 goals a game, they play a side near the bottom who get a red card in the first half and only bag 1 goal. Horrific.
