Sorry @Spike, just seen the disallowed Barnes goal. Can't agree that it should have been.

Barnes gets ahead of Mendy, heads it, and then Mendy tries to punch it and totally misses. Shocking decision to disallow it.

Yeah but you're biased. So what you think goes in the bin

Not sure, looks like his right arm may have infringed Mendy

He was all over Mendy. IF that is okay and the sport will just have someone mark and grab the GK every time a ball is delivered in to the box. Yeah, it's not a lot but it's more than enough.

FT 1-1. Would have taken a point at a difficult place to come but disappointing not to hold on having led into the 80th+ minute.

Told you you'd get a result. Well done.

To be fair to Bournemouth, their tactic of keeping Salah quiet worked...

Same thing they did with Haaland by having 5 players around him 😂

So twice consecutively City have come back from a 2 goal deficit to win. It'll be interesting to see what happens when they take the lead next.

Disappointed not to win, don’t rate Everton much really but we’ve a problem with conceding first currently. Sounds like we should have won but oh well, draws keep you in the league

You definitely edged the game in the end. We actually played well in patches but the last 20 or so minutes you lot were camped in our box and had a flurry of chances before eventually scoring. We rode our luck on a few occasions and to come away from that with three points by the finish would have been very flattering.

The state of the new posters is absolutely shocking haha

On the game not much happened until the second yellow apart from Ruben having a good chance. The penalty decision would be mehh, the offside is just hilarious never the same criteria regardless of teams that play. Fully expected Leicester to press and win the game, couldn't see us win in a million years. The two goals from Sterling gave us an huge advantage, plus we hit the post in between. However after that it was all Leicester, Vardy denied by Mendy and Perez hitting the bar. The disallowed goal and saying they were robbed is funny, as every single referee in the league gives a foul when the keeper is distracted. However that Mendy did went flying he did. Overall happy with the win and the effort, had our share of fortune this game but so has Leicester we have hit the woodwork twice as well.

Kinda annoyed Liverpool didn't manage to get to double figures against Bournemouth just to make it the most Bournemouth result ever. Early to call it but they look like the worst team in the league by a stretch. Might be slightly harsh though as they beat Villa then they've had City, Arsenal, Liverpool. It's just a lot of teams would lose all three of those games but at least put up a fight or two to carry some confidence forward into their easier fixtures. Now Bournemouth face Wolves having to try not to think about the fact they've lost 9-0 four days earlier.

Think we played Janelt, our #8, at left centre back to keep possession high similar to last season at Goodison

Yeah, previous Premier League high score records have not exceeded 9-0.

Man Utd 9-0 Ipswich Town 1995

Southampton 0-9 Leicester City 2019

Man Utd 9-0 Southampton 2021

So yeah, I was willing Liverpool on to score the 10th goal, but it wasn't to be. Surely Scott Parker is going to get the sack now. They lost their last two Premier League matches convincingly, but today's result was just humiliating.

We had a few issues late on. Holgate adds a really nice balance on the right hand side of the back three so having to replace him with Keane didn't help our control of the game. Onana was also subbed off for the last 15 minutes and Mykolenko came off with cramp shortly after. Vinagre did alright but Davies always struggles in a two man midfield. The back three of Keane, Coady and Tarkowski that we finished with was susceptible to pace as well so all of that contributed to us being forced quite deep at the end.

If we persist with three centre backs we still need to see more from Mykolenko and Patterson going forward. Iwobi and Onana were absolutely fine for me in midfield. McNeil was really poor again to be honest but Gordon and Gray are at least starting to show some form.

2 points from 4 games ain't great at all. We still have Gueye, Maupay and possibly another attacker to add to the side as well as Mina, Godfrey, Doucoure and Calvert-Lewin returning from injury. Still fairly confident we'll be fine but more fool us for getting 4-5 games into the season before completing all of these key signings, and therefore probably 8-9 games in before they're all fully fit and settled into the side. Really daft because that's almost a quarter of the way into the season at that point.

3 different goals from Haaland today, a header, a poachers finish and a through ball shrugging off both CB's showing his superior speed and power to finish in the corner :congrats: ...post match Interviewer: "You could be a legend of this club, are you planning to stay here at City?" Haaland: "No, I'm going home now." ...he said Foden finally passed to him too haha

Very tiny infringement.

Considering how physical keepers can be, they get away and get decisions far too often. Very soft to disallow, trying not to be biased!

Impossible to assess properly from that angle. Looks like a foul to me though

Rodgers has to go. Restricting us far too much, we need life breathing into the squad and Rodgers seems totally incapable of doing that, let alone anything else productive.

What are the odds he would get sacked if this form continues, not saying you lot did bad today but obviously against ten men reagrdless.
