Ozil Tells Teammates He Will Sign For Manchester United

Mesut Ozil has told his Arsenal team-mates he'll sign for Manchester United.

Ozil, 29, is ready to make the bombshell switch, and is confident that he will move to Old Trafford.

The Germany midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and can leave for nothing then, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admitted publicly last week that they could end up selling him in January.

That has now opened the door to the possibility of Ozil defecting to one of their biggest rivals.

It remains to be seen, though, whether the Old Trafford giants will push through on a deal for the 2014 World Cup winner.

Probably just his agent talking to somebody at United, happens all the time.

Not sure about Ozil at United, seems to have thrown in the towel at Arsenal, so you have to wonder about his attitude.   Certainly has the talent and has been one of the assist kings of the premier during his time at Arsenal.  United's strikers could definitely use the service from his crosses, if Mourinho can get his best from him. But can he duplicate his form at Real Madrid when he was the top of his game?

Didn't know they had a football version of Punk'd because I think come January the only person who is not going to be laughing is Ozil.

Those would cost a lot more though.

you'd get more out of them as well :)

Luxury at best. Not like United are struggling to create chances. A LB and maybe another CM should be seen as a priority for them.

This was being speculated a few weeks back on the Totally football podcast, Mourinho is quite the fans of Ozil so it’s more than likely grounded in truth.

He needs to move but united won't be good for him. Go play where you're heart  is and rekindle your passion after 4 years of soul sucking at arsenal.
