I would gladly watch this over a strong defensive 0-0 or 1-0 which puts everyone to sleep.

Only every now and then though. If it was like this every week it wouldn't be entertaining anymore it would be ice hockey

I liked what I saw from Lacazette, his dirbbling in and around the box was great in few cases, something which Giroud is not capable of. I still like Giroud but think Laca will add another dimension in the final third.

A great first game for this season and Arsenal may have won it but the pitiful defending on show from them shows why they won't do any better than last season. For that third goal, Arsenal had nobody marking Vardy, nobody marking the front post to be the first man and nobody on either post to clear it off the line, what the fuck WERE they doing?

Credit to Arsene for the two super subs, another example of Giroud being a perfect fit for us but apparently his missus wants to stay in London.

Chamberlain looked sharp and was one of the non-scoring stand out players, nobody from Leicester really impressed me except Vardy.

As much as Teso loves a troll he's on the money here. Why didn't Leicester keep attacking Arsenal when it was painfully obvious that it was this tactic which was winning them the game? Arsenal were dead and buried. Gone. Ka-put. Yet for some reason Shakespeare decides to sit on what he has with 20 minutes to go and invites more and more pressure. Away from home at the Emirates and against Arsenal that's only going to result in one outcome, it's no surprise that Arsenal got the third and fourth and this is a victory that should never have happened.

A very poor pre-season followed by tactical ineptitude against Arsenal. Gone by Christmas.

If we kept attacking Arsenal we would have conceded once I think anyway. They were piling men forward - James was knackered so had to be replaced. Arsenal were far from dead and buried. Any team is still in it when they're a goal down.

As gutted as anyone we lost but it was far from a foregone conclusion.

Arsenal's defending was quite literally horrific, smallest man on the pitch Okazaki scores, twice no one was marking Jamie Vardy, let alone Gironde awful pass.

Still first game of the season and they didn't have any centre backs playing (or 2 of them anyway)

I won't rule us out entirely but I've seen this fixture so many times and it always seems to go the same way.

In a nutshell. It's so predictable yet I always manage to build my hopes up. Three years running we've lost it at the end.

The manner of that has actually killed my buzz to watch another game this weekend. Such a huge slap in the face.

Think Shakespeare got it wrong tonight. Didn't think the set up was bad and we looked deadly on the counter, but the subs were baffling. Why has Iheanacho come on when we're winning?

This'll sound ridiculous as he's yet to actually make his debut but I think we missed Iborra. I think he was signed exactly for situations like tonight - to help us see games out when winning. Sure enough we bring on Amartey and a striker and we open ourselves up to them.

It was so painfully obvious we were going to lose as soon as they equalised.

It's not all doom and gloom. I think Vardy will definitely get 20+ this season and have said so all summer. Maguire will be a big player for us, not faultless tonight but I think he'll turn out a great signing. I don't have any fears that we'll be near the drop but we showed a real bottlejob tendency tonight.

The one fixture that will just never ever fall our way.

I don't think Teso likes Shakespeare. I wish he would just come out and say it.

I still find it bemusing how a Mexican / Yank who 'supports' Club America, Real Madrid and Man Utd can be so wound up by Leicester xD It's funny how wrong he is as well. I could explain entirely why everything he says is wrong yet it'll fall on deaf ears.

I am annoyed after today yeah, but I guess that's what you get when you've got a proper interest in a side.

You keep banging on about Ranieri but if he was still here we'd have kicked our season off last week, and probably lost more convincingly to a worse side. Only one way he was taking us. Anyone who can't see that hasn't got a clue.

More I think about it the more I think Shakespeare's taking too much stick relative to some of our defence. That third Arsenal goal is absolutely appalling defending from us. You can't blame that goal on Iheanacho being on the pitch. Where was Fuchs? What was Ndidi doing?

I still think we need a centre half. Morgan's past it now. He'd be 4th choice for me behind Maguire, Huth when he returns and a new centre half, hopefully Ben Gibson.
