Michu when he was at Swansea.

Reading when they finished 7th or 8th (?) about 10 years ago.

Leicester City are surely the biggest

Team-wise, it probably has to be. A lot of our lesser players had the season of their lives. I'd argue the main three (Vardy, Mahrez, Kante) have all since proven they aren't one-season wonders.

I think he was more of a one month wonder.

Michu is always the first name I think of.

Michael Ricketts always comes to mind. On fire that season Bolton went to the top of the league, bagging for fun and got an England call up too. Then tailed off.

Eventually got a move to Middlesbrough where he continued to do fuck all and soon disappeared into football oblivion.

Kleberson (post world cup wonder)

Robhino (he wasn't bad he put up good seasons at AC Milan but never lived up to hype)

Alexandre Pato (If injuries don't count)

Charlie Adam (his time at Blackpool)

Pogrybniak that first half season at fulham

Man City is the English team of the decade  9_9

It curiously coincides with the same time frames and same outcome in France with PSG. O.o

That's why their stats are over inflated but the outcome is the same with two identical club formats isn't it?

Andrew Johnson

Harsh that one. Started off very well at Everton but lost his way after getting hounded for diving following his disgraceful dive against Sheffield United. He still performed in the Uefa Cup well i recall. When he went to Fulham it was persistent groin problems that killed his pace and ruined his effectiveness.

Scottish FM hipsters never quite gave up hope on Charlie Adam suddenly turning back into a fuck ugly Pirlo like he was in that season.
