Nah, they were very understanding, though could have been different if they heard the sound of 'baa' from the boot.5 points

They tend to like the wild free yonder a bit... When I was up in Notts a workmate had one and no matter how hard he tried to secure his yard it always used to escape and run off, took hours to find it each time.. fun times3 points

They sent me the picture of the Elkhound. I'll take a more proper picture when the dog is with me, but here he is.2 points

A week or so into lockdown and we’re arguing whether stress is real or not. Good start.2 points

Thinking of getting a Golden Retriever when this pandemic subsides. The only reason I ever stopped myself was because I didn't have enough time to dedicate to the dog but I think the time is right now and I have prior experience with a labrardor as well so I figure I have done rowdy now I'll do disciplined.2 points

Looks like I'm getting a Norwegian Elkhound! I'm gonna adopt one that's 6 years old though as litters are a bit tough to come by.2 points

Just because they didn´t have a name for it in 1920s doesn´t mean it´s a myth.2 points

Keep yourself busy and use the time to learn something new to use in the future. Communicate with your friends online, it´s not the same but better than nothing. Go out for a walk.2 points

Israel's Netanyahu tests negative for coronavirus. My condolences go out to the virus during this tough time.2 points

Nah sorry, people should be allowed to go out and exercise as long they're sticking to the hour a day and not making unnecessary travel to do it. At the end of the day it's positive for mental health2 points

Please , Please, Please do not allow yourself to use the word 'Stress' Older friends will tell you that it was used in Physics to explain what happened when you heated and bent metals and these days it is used purely as an excuse by people when they cant be bothered to do something. We all get a little anxious or worried at times, but 'stress' and the use of the word makes it sound and, to many, makes it feel worse. The fact we are here, mainly well and mostly trying to beat this thing is proof that so-called 'stress' is a myth which exists to deny happiness and contentment. As I posted elsewhere and as Vera sang in the 40's 'There'll come another day'. Take care and enjoy each day!1 point

Yeah that would be good. Aiming to do a couple of seasons in MLS and then hopefully get a move to Europe and take all my decent players with me ha.1 point

Maybe my mood is low because I'm not exercising a quarter as much as I was. I think my insults were solid.1 point

It's a shame you couldnt reply like that off the bat instead of the shithouse insults. I brought up valid points, you called me a window licker and dense. Classy Can't be arsed continuing with this discussion, because there clearly isnt one. If people arent willing to sacrifice a little outdoor exercise for up to one month to see what effect it has then I have nothing to say to them. People are not seeing their families and friends through all these lockdowns, if they can manage that then Bob who goes running can do without it for a little bit.1 point

I have noticed that people are doing their own masks in the absence of anything official, seen some people walking about with paintball ones on... It's all a bit Mad Max1 point

Shopping each day is not required nor is it advisable. Should go to shops as infrequently as possible to avoid the social crowding in shops etc.1 point

No I dont think this will be over in 2-4 weeks. I'm talking about trying to flatten the curve of the spread.1 point

@Devil-Dick Willie was also open to the idea of sacrificing the elderly to save the economy. And has also admitted that he has continued to use his local (small, not that it makes a pick of difference) gym along with a few others. So yeah, clearly not followed the rules himself so far, and gets abusive real quick to sombody who is concerned about the few idiots that are putting everybody at risk. But yeah, @IgnisExcubitor is the person in the wrong here The fact of the matter is that everybody isn't following the fucking rules, and whether you say its "only a few" doesnt make a difference. The few who are ignoring the rules and guidelines are gonna mke it harder for us to get through. The pandemic will last longer, and the health services are at more risk of collapsing under pressure. So you can take your walk, run or biking and shove it. If you cant exercise at home for 2, maybe 4 weeks, to try and defeat this shit then you are selfish.1 point

At least the goats get to have a good time! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-521039671 point

The few idiots are just that though. A few. The very small minority. It makes the news because it's the story to grab attention. Despite their actions, the government rules for the lockdown state we can go out and about for up to an hour a day, maintain social distance but not meet up with friends or family of a different household. I think that's quite clear?1 point

FUCK OFF Look at my earlier comments about, mental health, physical health and posture. You're asking people to get fat, depressed and lumbar pain, when people can so easily avoid those things with an hour outside every day, never coming within a meter of others. Theres a reason EVERY western government is allowing outside exercise time. How fucking dystopian a world do you want to live in you fucking prat?1 point
-
Yup, also people blocking paths in grocery stores because they're having a chat. Highly annoying.1 point

If you don't allow exercise, mental health will bottom out. Suicide will rise dramatically.1 point

I got really ill mate... Thanks for remembering me ;) My work has shut down for 2 weeks as of today but I was unwell at my worst about 2 weeks ago. Just fought it off at home. I don’t think it was coronavirus to be honest as I never got tested. I only had very mild symptoms as to what the NHS website was saying. The worst of my illness were other symptoms I’m not sure. Lasted about a week though I’ve been fine for about a week now.1 point

If they're not within 2 metres of other people, who cares tbh? You can leave your house and practice social distancing - it's when you're forced into close contact with people in big groups that we're trying to avoid right now. Some cunt walking their dog and not going near anyone else isn't going to increase that person spreading the disease as long as they're practicing social distancing.1 point

As an introvert that was working from home before Covid-19, this is hardly a dream. I can't visit my family, i can't visit my fiancee's family, i can't go to the cinema, i can't go to the shops without waiting in a queue, i can't go for a walk without being quarantine shamed (this has happened twice despite my fiancee and I living together...), I can't watch football, the only gig I had planned for this year and was really looking forward to has been cancelled. Woo, fun dream.1 point

Look into golden retrievers or labradors. Smart dogs that are easily trained. They’re also friendly as fuck and just generally great dogs. Dogs are fantastic companions and great animals with a lot of love to give. Owning one is a commitment to that dog for it’s entire life, so picking one that suits your lifestyle is very important. Because otherwise it’s not fair to the animal, who’ll basically be loving you unconditionally. If you’re getting a dog you’ve got to be all in on giving it the best life possible, so it’s not something to be taken lightly.1 point

Huskies are famously difficult to train, if you’ve never had a dog before that might not be the best one to start with.1 point
