There've always been some flaws in Man City defensively. I think today showed they're even worse than we realised.

Yeah...I did not see that coming.

5 goals at home to Leicester. Let that sink in.

Obviously City are not rock solid but that is a really ridiculous implosion. And from 1-0 up as well when they were in total control. Astonishing really.

It was almost as if taking Fernandinho out for that young kid up front just totally over exposed them. Why did Pep do that?

Three penalties they have given away today. THREE. That is shocking discipline. Their heads just went.

It's only the 2nd game of the season and Pep is under immense pressure now.

Without a doubt, this is the toughest point in his career right now.

None of the bullshit handballs either. All three were soft but all three were totally clumsy from their defenders.

He’s never had a hattrick in the Premier League.

He manages that tomorrow I may as well withdraw my previous comments on him much like yours on not wanting to win the premier league. :whistling:

I never once said i didnt want to win the Premier League though?

Positionally, each defender was wrong side which shows how much they caused their own downfall.

Soft penalties to give away but all 100% correct.

Yep, a truly shoddy defensive display from them, there were signs of it in the first half as well, we were so piss poor in the first 20 minutes yet it seemed like the minute we got one break on them they just lost their heads.

Pep's football has always had its flaws. I think it's almost suicidal football without the right personnel - which they didn't have today.

I don't think buying a defender based on how good of a central midfielder they'd be is a good idea... If the opposition don't want to attack that might work but Pep isn't at Barcelona or Bayern Munich here.

That should be a sackable offence to be honest. Groce negligence.

Insane that Jesus Navas would be by far their best fullback if he still was at City.

3 fucking penalties?? glad I didn't watch this shit! :4_joy:  ..is that a record? :35_thinking:

Yep. As well as you letting in 5 at that ground for the first time ever. As well as Vardy becoming the second player to get a hat-trick against a Guardiola side in the league, the first being himself xD

The argument used to be that teams attacked too much in Spain and that is why Barce and Real always scored so much....gotta love arguments for argument sakexD

No it wasn't... not sure who you were paying attention to. It's always been a case of other teams being shit scared to do anything against Barcelona or Real Madrid. The gap between them and the rest of the league was enormous during Pep's time there.

No the argument was that Spanish teams don’t defend, they just play open and try to attack. Unlike the English teams like Stoke etc etc

No believe me if there's any way we'll back this up, given our ability to deliver extremes, it's by losing at home to West Ham next week.

In all seriousness every time I think I've got us worked out it turns out I haven't, at all.

The share holders are fuming!

BBC based in Salford and most of Tory England (including Leicester) are worrying that Liverpool might win it again. Hopefully Everton, because that will reveal the real hatred of Liverpool that it was always about.

Remember when English people tried to get the league cancelled because Liverpool were 22 points clear? Unbelievable.

How can you be lucky but score 5 xD

This wasn't a 1-0 shithouse win @Dan would jizz over in an FM game. Man City didn't even have that many other chances?

Rodri is bitter. Not seen Pep's comments but imagine he's just as sour.
