Administrator Stan Posted August 21, 2021 Administrator Share Posted August 21, 2021 @Dan can testify that any player who returns to play against Leicester usually would score or have their best game. Or a guy, who perhaps hasn't scored in months, maybe years, gets their goal they've been waiting for. Or on their debut they score.

I know everyone says it about their own club but I'm convinced ours is quite disproportionate and we're worse for it than most. I've never been as sure a striker in such appalling form as Solanke July 2020 was going to score and he got two.

Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted August 22, 2021 Subscriber Share Posted August 22, 2021 I dread when we play Chelsea and Lukaku is playing, he may come back and haunt us, Chelsea have another Drogba in the making here and I still say we should have never sold him, I would rather have Lukaku than Martial any day. Ploughendplonker
Any former player. You kind of expect ex-strikers to come back and score against you, that's feels like a given, but we've had holding midfielders and right backs come back and score against us. Lucas
Alan Shearer. I'm not sure but I think he holds the record for this kind of stat. 20 goals in 19 games against us. He loved us. Whether it was Blackburn or Newcastle, he always scored. It was a great day when he retired.
