@Dan can testify that any player who returns to play against Leicester usually would score or have their best game.

Or a guy, who perhaps hasn't scored in months, maybe years, gets their goal they've been waiting for. Or on their debut they score.

The amount of players who get their first goal, or first in ages. I know everyone says it about their own club but I'm convinced ours is quite disproportionate and we're worse for it than most. I've never been as sure a striker in such appalling form as Solanke July 2020 was going to score and he got two.

Kane is the obvious one too. 16 goals in 11 games against us or something laughable.

We're the club he's scored the most goals against in his career.

Doesn't surprise me. He's managed 7 in 2 games. Loves a goal against us, always has. Spurs won't touch us again if he goes.

Alan Shearer.

I'm not sure but I think he holds the record for this kind of stat.

20 goals in 19 games against us. He loved us. Whether it was Blackburn or Newcastle, he always scored.

It was a great day when he retired.

Weren't Newcastle and Leeds in different divisions for years before that?

No mate. When Shearer was in the Premier League, we were there the whole time till 2004.

So had we stayed up, he may have added a couple more to that before he retired.

Fair, I thought one or the other had dipped down once or twice. Hard to keep track with Newcastle especially
