I always believe you should play your strongest side at all times no matter what games are coming up.. only when your hand is forced should you make the changes.. In a game like this he should have stayed on until the job was done and then worry about who will play in the weekend game..

His influence though can't be denied, he has a great calmness about him, passing range and an ability to pick out the odd cracking shot.. It's one of the reasons City couldn't answer Madrid when they got the upper hand, they lacked a leader for me, someone who could keep focused and drive the side on... Lucas
I feel genuinely gutted for City. They are just cursed in this competition. Liverpool, Monaco, Spurs, Chelsea and now Real. Some kind of sourcery seems to stop them somehow. Mental barrier? Pep looked crestfallen, he must want to just crawl under a rock and die. Emotionally, I'm gutted for him too. Loads of if's, but's and maybe's. City created more than enough to bury Madrid over 180mins and yet 5 goals still wasn't enough. Lack of striker haunts them again but also, they have conceded 6 to an incredibly average side. Defensively, questions need to be asked. Was Pep right to sub KDB so early if he wasn't injured? Again, a curious one. They never looked dangerous in extra time. The referee was a complete waste of space. Casemiro should have walked for collecting 3 or 4 bookings but failed to get one. 6 mins added at Full time, 3 mins added end of extra time. Hmm... To the Real Madrid fans that left at the end of the 90 0-1 down and have missed everything that unfolded after... ...you bunch of stupid silly cunts. Glad you've had that live moment robbed from you forever because I'd never live with myself if that happened to me with Leeds, ever. Hope Liverpool absolutely ram Madrid up the pipe dry. Horrible, horrible club.

Harry
I'm gutted. Wanted a Liverpool vs City matchup just for the sake of the season both would have, and the excitement of having us potentially able to take away both major honours from them or neither. Totally sick of Real Madrid. Playing them. Seeing them in finals. So boring

My old man has supported City since the 60's so I wanted them to win it once for him. There are several fans that have supported them before they became the club they are now. No different to the Chelsea fans before Roman going through what they have done. Its those I feel for most as a football fan because they tend to be more grounded and realistic about things. It feels really weird to me that most of English football just sell their souls to the highest bidder. It is not at all what football should be all about. And yet we have Red Bullshit Leipzig terrorizing our league. Luckily with little success so far.

I'd rather go up against a side like Madrid. I'm fairly certain they've lost a European Cup final in Paris before too...
