I think it's borderline between that, and him never being troubled well enough. Just as borderline if something just didn't ever really click for Liverpool on the night, or Real prevented them from playing their best. It felt odd to me for large phases of the game. Liverpool were having so much possession. But Real Madrid were always, always in the match. Like a classic Italian side of the past. Solidity first. Nick things on the counter. Which seems to be their style right now with their current squad. All apparently with the strong belief they truly are Real Madrid.
