WEEKEND RESULTS

image.thumb.png.758c0c1b32b7c6259232fe3a1bbaa58d.png

Firstly, it's congratulations to our latest five title-winners; @Bluewolf, @Coma, @Dr. Gonzo, @Lucas and @nudge who have added the 2023 Premier League title to their honours and also adding 3 more points to their collections in the process. It was another win for @Rucksackfranzose with Gornik Zabrze in Poland so he stays put ahead of his last game of the season. 3 points and a 3-0 win for Dortmund and for @Viva la FCB mean they are top of the table as it stands with one game remaining in the league.

Elche only managed a draw against Getafe so @Stan now gets his pick of the two. One game left for me after Liverpool's draw with Villa so I've opted to stay with Liverpool. @Beelzebub and @Mel81x's FC Koln only got a draw too so it's either FC Koln or Werder Bremen for them. @Toinho's PSV drew 3-3 but will he stay or move with just one game remaining in Eredivisie.

@Tommy is on the move for his last match of the season after Magdeburg lost out to new champions Darmstadt. @DeadLinesman is on the move again but this time it's back to Lens who still could win Ligue 1 if PSG slip up. @CaaC (John) and @RandoEFC will no longer see the Champions League final after their Inter team were beaten by Serie A winners Napoli.

It's looking likely that it'll be nudge or Dr. Gonzo for the 2022/2023 Gloryhunter title.

Final games for a few of our players - good luck!

Condolences from me buddy and you take care and take as long away as you want, as I have always said family & health becomes more important than forums and football.

RESULTS
And finally, it's time to definitively wrap up the fourth season of Gloryhunter! Our Gloryhunters have been through the mill this season, with twists and turns in almost every fixture. Let's see how it all finished...

image.thumb.png.5e62a2ec49cab56ee6a4210955703ef8.png

If you drew a game, you've remained at the same team for the next fixture so it'll say 'Stays with ***' even though you've drawn.

For @Bluewolf, @Coma, @Dr. Gonzo, @Lucas and @nudge, they were just fresh off winning the Premier League however a loss to Brentford meant that they couldn't go on to win the FA Cup and the Champions League too, ending their seasons at Brentford without playing another game.

@DeadLinesman, with Lens, had two games remaining of the season and won one 3-0, and the other 3-1 but it still wasn't enough to seal the Ligue 1 title, as they came runners up to PSG by one point.

@Stan stuck with Elche after the last fixtures and stayed with them with 2 more draws and a win sandwiched in between.

Next up is @Viva la FCB who, with Dortmund, had their eyes on the title with just the last game of the season to go. Dortmund ended up drawing which handed Bayern the title. Viva finishes the season bottom of the Gloryhunter table although they did play a lot less games somehow.

@Beelzebub and @Mel81x 's last game was with FC Koln where they handed Bayern the title with a 2-1 loss.

Over in Poland, @Rucksackfranzose's last game with Gornik Zabrze ended in a draw as well, as did mine with Liverpool who ended with a 4-4 draw over relegated Southampton.

@CaaC (John) and @RandoEFC, with Napoli, signed off their season with 4 points - a win and a draw.

@Tommy closes off his season with a 4-0 defeat to Greuther Furth, and @Toinho rounds off his year with a final win with PSV.

Congratulations to @nudge who adds a Gloryhunter Title to their trophy cabinet.

PPG
Not that it makes any difference as there's no prizes for it, but here's the table if everyone had played the same amount of games, balanced out by points-per-game.
