Dave Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 Here's a list of predictions I have that we can laugh at when the season finishes: Thomas Tuchel will resign or get sacked at some point during this season despite the new signings being relatively successful. Antonio Conte will leave within the next 12 months as Daniel Levy will not be willing to fund his demands for another two transfers windows. Erling Haaland will be similar to Sergio Aguero in the sense that he will be explosive when plays but will miss a lot of matches due to niggling injuries. Jack Grealish will become a much more influential player for Manchester City. Leicester City will have a better season without the distraction of European football Bruno Lage will leave Wolves at some point in the next 12 months. Brighton will have another good season which will be enough to see Graham Potter leave for a bigger club. Wilfred Zaha will have his best season in terms of returns in what will be his last year for Crystal Palace. Aston Villa will perform well for what we expect of them but the owners will not be satisifed and Stevie Gerrard will be replaced within the next 12 months. Leeds United will have another injury stricken season that hits whenever they're beginning to build momentum. Brentford will have a second year regression similar to what Leeds and Brighton have but they'll stay up. One of the promoted clubs will sack there manager early for Sean Dyche and that will be the side that stays up. This is the year Everton go down.

I've had £50 on them going down. Probably won't but odds were worth the bet.

Especially the managerial change ones - Tuchel, Lage, Potter, Gerrard, a promoted manager leaving their club (Parker at Bournemouth) all bang on. Grealish more influential, Brighton having a good season, Haaland explosive but has niggling injuries, Leeds' injury-hit squad. Everton could still go down...?
