Probably more often than not, hence why it happens. It's exactly why stopped clocks should be introduced to eradicate more subjective refereeing. I've seen games where substitutions happened in stoppage time and yet the ref still blew on exactly the minimum added time. It works both ways. Did you watch the game? Did you see in the third minute of extra time where Pope feigned being hurt? The game didn’t start again until just before the 5th minute, hence mariner adding another 90 odd seconds onto that. What on Earth are you talking about? Quite rightly seeked medical treatment for what was clearly an impact injury, you'd be absolutely fine with it had Alisson done the same. We were struggling with fitness at the end, we have had one less day rest and the game was high energy, there was no basis for anything more than 5 minutes.
