Administrator Stan Posted November 22, 2022 Administrator Posted November 22, 2022 Kick-off 19.00 (GMT) VS Venue - Al Bayt Stadium, Al Kohr Standings:
Reluctant Striker Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 I think Pulisic is currently the best non English player in the group, but England surely win, to some extent. Keep the momentum going.
Machado Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 It's starting to look like England's tournament to lose.

I mean in the likely event that Iran doesn't make it through the group, I'm totally fine with Wales going through. Anything to annoy the USA commentators tbh.

Is that true? Yes. The bias yesterday from their commentary team was mental - they were just furious that the ref wasn't giving everything to them. I'm surprised that Stu Holden fella is an ex-player because he struck me as someone who'd never watched a football match before in his life and he was astounded that the referee could do things like award fouls against the USA.
Reluctant Striker Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Harry Kane having an ankle scan on Wednesday. I guess they do have Rashford, Wilson or even 'false 9' Foden as options. But no Kane would be a blow.
Michael Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 I hope we beat the USA convincingly. It would be great to do so, especially after our disappointing draw with them at the 2010 World Cup.

Holden was a decent player when he played for for Bolton Wanderers several years ago, but he is indeed very bias when it comes to commenting on the US national team. I think that he's always very close to the US national team, being an ex-player and a pundit for FOX sports. Although the US started very well in the game against Wales, the Welsh could and really should have won the match in the 2nd half. Some might say that the draw was the fair result, well Holden should be happy with the draw in my opinion.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted November 23, 2022 Subscriber Posted November 23, 2022 I don't think the US can put up too much pressure for England honestly. This English team didn't get out of 2nd gear against Iran so this should be more of the same.
Dr. Gonzo Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Alright I’ve listened to Vindaloo about 16 times today & I’m drunk as fuck, let’s score a shitload please
Administrator Stan Posted November 25, 2022 Author Administrator Posted November 25, 2022 England quite slow and ponderous. But I think that's more to do with USA's off the ball organisation and discipline when pressing. England just need to find a way to beat the press. There's not always an option for Stones and Maguire to pass forward to, so don't blame them for having to pass to each other.
Administrator Stan Posted November 25, 2022 Author Administrator Posted November 25, 2022 Wake the fuck up England!
Administrator Stan Posted November 25, 2022 Author Administrator Posted November 25, 2022 Mount doing feck all too.
N U F C Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Playing like a team who think they’ve already qualified
Administrator Stan Posted November 25, 2022 Author Administrator Posted November 25, 2022 Need some big changes at half time. Grealish and Foden are much more direct. Maybe on for Mount and Sterling?
6666 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Disrespectful from McKenie. Photographer should've slapped him.
