Look at how Spurs spent the Bale money and Liverpool spent the Suarez money. It’ll be difficult for Spurs to reinvest that money imo, again not to say they cant do it successfully, but that situation does become a bit of a poisoned chalice. Just wish it would progress one way or the other. Do Spurs have a new technical director? Important for he and Angie to see eye to eye on players and overall philosophy. A club buying the manager's preferred players is almost always a recipe for disaster and isn't sustainable.
