Well, well, well how the turntables @Storts :(

Yup, still depends on them actually coughing up the money, but things have definitely changed. Other than him staying this is the second best outcome though

Based on what Ange was able to achieve with the turnover of big names/characters when he arrived at Celtic, I feel as if Spurs are in a better position to rebuild with 100m+ now that they would have been under Conte or Jose telling Levy what they want and throwing toys under the pram if they don't get it.

Ange was fortunate in that he understood a market that was on a par with the SPFL. It’ll be difficult to replicate that at Spurs. Not to say he can’t, but this is a massive jump.

Plus having to spend close to £100m in one transfer window to replace a gaping hole rarely works out, too much change at once, too much focus on players who have potential and little substance. Look at how Spurs spent the Bale money and Liverpool spent the Suarez money.

It’ll be difficult for Spurs to reinvest that money imo, again not to say they cant do it successfully, but that situation does become a bit of a poisoned chalice.

Going to have to wait at least a few more days anyways.

It's all about Bayern & Kane now. Kane doesn't want to go to PSG.
Levy negotiates with Bayern. From Bayern's point of view, everything
is going according to plan. I can't say 100% why the appointment
didn't take place today. But there should be a meeting in the next few days.
Is scheduled. - Plettenberg

It was always going to be around £100m no? Especially after selling Mane if its that close I have to figure a deal will still get done but we'll see.

Yup always said it would be about £100 million that would get Levy tempted. Just wish it would progress one way or the other. Hopefully the Mane sale accelerates and they can just offer what Levy wants, or we can issue an ultimatum and at a certain point we have to cut off negotiations because prolonging them helps no one

Agreed. Best for everyone if this wraps up one way or the other quickly here. Sources on our side are all saying we want it wrapped up this week.

Do Spurs have a new technical director? Important for he and Angie to see eye to eye on players and overall philosophy.

A club buying the manager's preferred players is almost always a recipe for disaster and isn't sustainable.

Spurs to have a full tear down a week before the season starts is odd and if true it means they could end up like West Ham, pockets loaded but everyone will know it and cash in on it.

signing Van Der Ven and Maddisson would not make sense if spurs are putting everyone on the chopping block.

watching Tottenham fuck themselves over is going to be beautiful, especially when he fucks off to Chelsea and Man U on a free and absolutely rips spurs a new one.

Don’t see that happening, I think he signs a new 5 year deal now.
