I know they play on the 2nd and 4th and then 7th in the cup but why make them play tomorrow or Sunday instead of 2nd and 4th?

They were meant to play each other New Years Eve but it got moved for safety reasons
Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 29, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 29, 2017 I'll be amazed if we don't lose. We've got no right back and we're up against that attack. Repeat of last year. 4-1 loss.
Eco Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Any points would be great for Newcastle at this point.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 29, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 29, 2017 Hoping for a 1-0 battering of little old Bournemouth. We surely can't draw 0-0 again.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 29, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 29, 2017 George Thomas in our squad tomorrow apparently. The stand out player from our U23 side which is in pretty superb form of late.

You say that, but he's Fat Sam's sort of bullish midfield enforcer. All you're really missing is a Jay-Jay Okocha, Rooney isn't it and Ross seems well off the radar.

Honey Honey Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Rumours of takeover talks collapsing so Rafa will throw this game today, congratulations on your win Brighton
Honey Honey Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 7 changes to the Carabao Cup team we fielded against Man City
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 30, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 30, 2017 Gueye, Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Lennon and Sigurdsson is our midfield. I've defended Allardyce and his defensive approach so far but that midfield away at Bournemouth is bordering on disgraceful.
Administrator Stan Posted December 30, 2017 Author Administrator Posted December 30, 2017 Iborra back in the side for us. Youth player George Thomas on the bench alongside Ahmed Musa. Safe to say the former will have more of an impact in the Premier League than Musa ever will.
Dickie Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Ah yes 3 minutes in and we're already losing. Worth a punt to make a bet it'll end 5-0?
Bluewolf Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 What a start for us.... 2-0 Drinkwater with the second
