He was shouting you know what, honestly I'm not shocked anymore it's every other day we foil or suffer an attack now in Europe. It's fucked long term, we'refucked, unless rapid massive cultural change within that community or rapid decline in birth rates we know how this ends, vicious attritional war most likely for our grandchildren.

Tensions are rising and military conflict is looking likely between the two nations.

I don't understand what China is doing there. It seems childish and petty. It just doesn't make sense to have tensions with one of their most powerful neighbours. It makes more strategic sense to secure their land borders, since the make or break conflict for China to gain more geopolitical power is the South China Sea.

We always had minor tensions with China. The reasons for the increased tension is because China is trying to build a road to the Doklam spot, which belongs to Bhutan. You can read about it online. The spot is of strategic importance to us as well, as it is close to the Siliguri Corridor - a slim passage that connects the North-eastern part of India to the rest of our country.

Things have been hot for a while before that, because:

1) We refused to participate in China's ambitious OBOR (One Belt One Road) project. Our reasons are justified because this project makes China and Pakistan more powerful in our region, something which we cannot allow.

2) We conducted navy exercises with Japan and US in Malabar, which further annoyed China.

Anyways, I doubt whether we will go to war. We both are nuclear nations, but more importantly to China, the multi billion dollar trade with us cannot be jeopardised.

The current situation is basically a bit of grandstanding on their part. Someone is standing up to a bully, and China don't want to back off. We have offered dialogue but China has refused that.

As an Indian, my biggest worry is not China but the main opposition party in my country. When countries are threatened by foreign forces, all political parties unite, but in India, the main opposition party, Congress, which belongs to the powerful Gandhi(not Mahatma Gandhi) family secretly met with the Chinese envoy during the dispute, and repeatedly attempted to undermine the Indian government.

Yet another border dispute, yet another show of force. Nothing serious will come out of it; India and China are both aspiring superpowers and neither is going to jeopardize that by going to a full-scale war against the other. As Ignis said, trade is the key.

I believe both are actually keeping the number of troops at the conflict area limited in order to avoid accidental armed clashes. India has 300 soldiers and a bulldozer, China has about the same.

Mighty win for the small guy.

China has agreed to not build the road. So both countries scaled back their troops. Normal patrolling will continue.

Props to our govt for achieving this in a mature way, by gaining support from the likes of Japan and EU through the back channels.

Experts here are expecting for a backlash from China, possibly in the form of say cyber attacks.

Will she face the same punishment as Rooney (he was apparently 3 times over as well)?

Television presenter Kirsty Gallacher has admitted drink-driving after being caught more than three times over the legal limit.

The Sky Sports presenter, 41, was arrested in Eton, Berkshire, after failing a roadside breathalyser test.

Gallacher, an ex-Strictly Come Dancing contestant, had been going to meet her children to visit Windsor Castle on 12 August, Slough magistrates heard.

District Judge Davinder Lachhar said the charge was "very serious".

Gallacher, who is divorced from ex-rugby union player Paul Sampson, was seen driving her BMW X4 erratically before police tracked her down using CCTV.

Her alcohol level was found to be 106mg per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml of breath.

The defendant, of Virginia Water, Surrey, appeared in the dock wearing black and spoke only to confirm her name, address and plea.

Gallacher is expected to be sentenced later.

There's pictures going round of a bucket in a Lidl bag which caught fire and exploded.

Regardless of cause, seems fortunate it was at the station and doors were open so people could flee/escape without further serious harm or injuries.

Doesn't really sound like a bomb, based on the fact that the bucket and the bag haven't exploded into pieces and the arrival of the Hazardous Area Teams, which doesn't seem normal for a bomb incident.

Whatever it is, it's a massive shame and really hits home that it can happen at any time, especially as someone who commutes via the Tube on a daily basis.

Fingers crossed the people who have suffered from this are getting the best medical help and recover from their injuries.
