Juve

They have the league wrapped up unlike everyone else. Have a strong side, and plays the best defense.

heart and head say Juve. I'd love them to do it. Mainly for Buffon.

Real Madrid, they dont play well but they do get the results needed. I dont know if its their attitude or if things just fall in place for them but their cross and pray seems to work so well for them. I think they will win but I want to be proven so bad.

I voted for Juventus but I would love to see a Monaco - Juve final because of all the teams I have seen this week and over the entire course of the competition. Watching the most attacking team vs the team that has let the least goals in would be something truly exciting. Wouldn't feel bad if either of those lifted the cup in the end.

I'd be delighted to see anyone but Real Madrid win it.

Juve because the likes of Buffon (especially him because he probably won't play much longer), Bonucci and Chiellini deserve it.

Monaco because I love this current Monaco team. It's full of great young players, they're a joy to watch, and it's always nice to see an underdog win it.

Atletico because they're brilliant and have suffered two heartbreaking final losses to their local rivals. Hopefully they manage to beat Real Madrid somewhere along the way.

I can't choose between Monaco and Juve.

Edit - i kind of forgot the question while typing that. xD I think Juve are the most likely to win it, they're the complete team.

Be nice to Atletico finally do it, but for me Monaco play most exciting way so I'd love to see them batter their way to the trophy.

this

Like the best offense Atlanta Falcons vs best defense New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Defense wins championships.

Lyon for me. Celta aren't a bad shout either although they are below Lyon and also United for me.

Would be harsh to rule out Ajax but I'd say they have the least chance.

I think Manchester United will bore their way through it. Got money on them anyway. Put £20 on them to win the Europa and Atletico to win the Champions League on Tuesday night. Returns about £200.

It's Utd's to lose.

By far the strongest squad out of those remaining.

Celta Vigo are the dark horses.

I read that if United win this then 7th place could go straight into the group stages of the Europa.

I'm willing to be the bigger man and sacrifice a great trip end of July/beginning of August for the qualifiers so we get a full pre-season. If it's correct that is.

Ajax beat Celta in the group stages, but ajax have drawn against Lyon who are the strongest team in the competition even more then Man Utd,  I expect Lyon to win it.

I'd like United to win it as it's the only European trophy they've not won. Will have to perform a lot better to do it though I think as there are a few decent teams left

Didn't know that, if true I'll be all over them to win.

We should be able to beat the teams that we'd likely face in the qualifiers but I'd rather have a full season under our belt instead.

Depends if you can get the better of the mighty Astra Giurgiu xD

It would be great if Celta did it, although seeing Ajax win it would be nice itself and long overdue. I hope it's those 2 in the final.

I hope Ajax for the sake of Dutch football, but probably Man Utd.

As long as who ever wins it doesn't finish in an automatic Champions League spot in their own league, the Aberdeen players will be grateful for an extra two weeks break...

With Ajax and Man United the favourites to progress, it's looking good so far.

Hopefully Juventus win it. And this is Buffon's last chance to win it too, he deserves it. They deserve it. They've been really good this season, all over the park too, not just in defense.

Yes! That would be a really classic European matchup. Miss those kinda matchups.

Admins, maybe do an updated 2017-2018 Champions League question?

People are saying that Real Madrid won't "threepeat". If not them, then who will win the 2017-2018 Champions League?

I rate the Champions League more than the World Cup. The skill level is just better. Not surprising when you consider that CL teams have a better chance to gel.

So who's it gonna be? Barca? Bayern? Real Madrid?

As much as I don't want to say this, it's gon be Real Madrid. They're the very definition of a complete team. THIS current Real Madrid team is the only team (Spanish or otherwise) that's ever given me a "sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach"/a sense of dread. The fact that they keep "getting it done." Again and again and again. (am a lifelong blaugrana supporter since childhood.)

Defo in the convo for the best club team of recent times, along with Guardiola's Barca. Maybe among the best of all time, when all is said and done.

The Final venue 2018 Kiev's Olimpiyskiy Stadium (Olympic Stadium) will also have a blue running track like 2015 Berlin's Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium). A good omen for Barca to Treble? :-D :-D

Ideal 2018 Champions League Final in Kyiv Matchups:

a) Barca vs Real Madrid (1st ever El Clasico Final)

b) Barca vs PSG

c) Barca vs Manchester City

d) Barca vs Manchester United (come full circle)

I say ideal matchups cos not sure if we can even get past the quarters, realistically speaking, even with additional signings.
