Why can't they give an equal percentage? I thought it was thought and care that counted, not the raw numbers; thst is just greed. Did you read the article? He wants everyone to donate 1%. Do you realise how much money that'd be in a year? Both Manchester clubs would scrape close to a million pounds easy. Most of these kids probably only need a new ball, maybe some shoes. Why shouldn't poor people be grateful for free things? Should they demand more? That is stupid and completely indignate to the spirit of giving, anything is better than nothing and I saw that first hand when I saw my young nephews give out Christmas presents in the slums/graveyards of Manila. What does Neymar's transfer have to do with Mata wanting other footballers to choose to donate to this charity? You don't have a single valid point and you just sound bitter, ranting about things that have nothing to do with Mata. You sound like a guy that thinks he is better than the tokenistic rich people giving out their pennies to others. You reek of moral self-righteousness and quite frankly come off just like those people that donate to make themselves feel better. Everything is a bellyache and nothing is good enough. I'm the most cynical bastard of them all but I have to respect Mata for this because I don't believe he's the type to do something like this publicly to get more Instagram followers like some other players. People asking him to donate 10% as well, get real, no chance of getting other players on board with that whereas if you make it 1% other players that get on board might well end up paying at least 2% or 3%. Don't look at it as whether or not Mata deserves credit or not for giving up what is, for him, a pittance. Baily is a Penalty decision or sending off about to happen. Lindelof is out of his depth for now. He is really inexperience and raw, he only played 30 odd games of first team football before he came to United. However, he has all the tools, he is big, strong and fast and his defending can be very good, when he gets it right. I think they can rid him of his rashness and make a good defender out of him. At least I hope so. To me CB is the hardest position to learn, it takes time to develop a really good one and they are becoming harder to find. United have improved a lot since Moyes and LVG, (because we were really bad then), but they have not improved as much as people are saying. We are not title contenders as of yet and the games against Barcelona and Real showed how far we are behind the top teams in the Champions League.
